Hall China Retro Pink Bowls Hall China retro pink and gold banded bowls. These are being sold as collectible display items; I did not make them so I do not know what they were made with or if they are food safe by today's standards. They are thick, heavy, well-made bowls and the gold bands are intact! Most of the Hall bowls I come across are missing most of the gold bands. The exterior of the largest bowl has some lines within the glaze and one gouge in the dry bottom rim, see pics 6-8. The bowl displays fine; the photos are close ups and hard to even spot the lines from 8 inches away. The larger bowl is 8.5 wide x 4.5 tall; next size is 7.5 wide x 4 tall; small bowl is 6.5 wide x 3.5 tall. Cool set for your 50's kitchen! If you want a more accurate ship quote, e-mail me your zip code prior to ordering. 10/14

Hazel Atlas Depression Glass Mixing Bowl Vintage Hazel Atlas depression glass mixing bowl. c.1930's. Vintage depression glass mixing bowl with the Hazel Atlas logo on bottom of bowl. It is showing its age as you can see in the pictures, but has no chips or cracks. Edges around top inner rim are a bit rough; (most old glass, especially depression glass has rough edges which is also one of the ways to distinguish it from newer items which have very smooth edges). It is 8 wide x 4 tall.

Click for more detail...

yellowware0721

Vintage Yellow Ware Bowl Vintage yellow ware bowl. Incised #9 on bottom. It is actually almost 9.5 wide x 5 tall. It has a couple of flaws: A small surface flake on top rim which is smooth so it is either a really old flake or the bowl was just made like that. Next to that flake is a piece of clay waste and it has a tiny piece of clay waste in the bottom of bowl. On exterior is another imperfection in the bowl; a larger area of unevenness but that area is smooth and glazed over so it was made like that. The bowl has all over faint crazing and it displays very well despite the old flaws. I have sold a couple of other larger bowls like this with the same pattern. This might be in the book on Yellow Ware; could be antique Brush McCoy or another American Pottery Company. 7/21scs

Mixing Bowls Vintage mixing bowls. These bowls all match on the exteriors but have different markings on the bottoms. Two smaller ones have incised mark: OvenProof USA; larger bowl has USA 108. I think the larger one is a McCoy and the other two might be Brush McCoy or Watt Pottery. No chips or cracks. Largest one has some interior crazing near bottom of bowl. It is 8 wide x 4 tall. Middle bowl is 7 wide x 3.25 tall. Small bowl is 6 wide x 3 tall. Cute display set or you could still use them; I forgot what the pattern name is. 1/24scs

Vitrock Depression Glass Bowls Small vintage Vitrock depression glass mixing bowls. c. 1930's. I have 2 in the store, the price is for one bowl. Very small white depression glass mixing bowl. Both bowl are marked 'Vitrock' on the bottoms, which I believe was the name Hocking Glass Works used at time, and it is shown in the Kitchen Glassware book by G. Florence on pg. 114. It is 6.5 inches wide. The smaller bowls like these are said to be the hardest to find. No chips or cracks, and just shows some minor wear on the interior and on the bottom rim.

Blue Band Yellow Ware Bowl Vintage blue banded yellow ware shoulder bowl. Being sold as a collectible display item, not for food use as it is antique and is probably not up to today's standards for safe food or liquid usage or storage. It is 9.5 wide x 5 tall. Resembles the blue/white banded Watt bowl, but is not identical. It has one depression in rim edge, (might be a very old chip, but edges are very smooth), and a tiny rim nick, (from cracking eggs likely). Otherwise, nice condition to display. ggau1.08

It is 9 inches wide x almost 5 tall. No chips or cracks but does have a few imperfections like gouges, crazing and pinpops which is common on antique stoneware. Yellow Ware Vintage Bowl Vintage Yellow Ware ten inch bowl. Being sold as a collectible display item, not for food use as it is antique and is probably not up to today's standards for safe food or liquid usage or storage. Attractive old bowl with incised 10 on bottom. It is 10 inches wide x a bit over 5.5 tall. No chips or cracks. It does have a one inch craze line on exterior of bowl but I do not feel any crack with my fingertip so it's just a craze mark at this point in time, see photo 7. It also has some raised wavy lines in the clay that are just the way it was made, (lumpy lines) see photo 6. It also has some crazing on interior of bowl and dark dots and pits. The flaws are very common on vintage yellow ware and if you are familiar with old yellow ware you probably know this. Not sure which company made it; possibly Brush McCoy or McCoy; Monmouth; etc. Great for display in your country kitchen! 6/16

USA Small Shoulder Bowl Vintage USA small shoulder bowl. Being sold as a collectible item, not for food use since I did not manufacture it and I don't know if it has anything harmful in it. This is likely Monmouth as it has a USA within a square as was used on some of my Monmouth vases. Incised mark: 5, USA. It has no chips or cracks and stands only 3 inches tall x 5 wide. I put an antique eggbeater in one of the photos just to show you how small it is. Very hard to find the really small bowls. 6/16

Antique Spatterware Bowl Antique spatterware bowl. Being sold as a collectible display item, not for food use as it is antique and is probably not up to today's standards for safe food or liquid usage or storage. Very confident this is early Red Wing, but it is not marked. I came across a pitcher and different shaped bowl with same coloring in one of the old RW books. This bowl has a nice ribbed design which is hard to detect due to the spatter design. The bottom has some spider lines, (I do not feel anything with my fingernail so they are not hairlines, just deep crazing). Interior has some visible age/wear/discoloration, but no chips. It is 8.25 wide x 5 tall. Age est: 1800's-early 1900's. 5/11s#

Vintage Pottery Mixing Bowl Set Cute vintage pastel pottery mixing bowl set. This set is being sold as collectible display items, and not for food use since I did not manufacture them and I do not know if they have anything harmful in them. They look like they were hand formed; they are not perfectly round, and look like something Bauer or Pacific Pottery would have made. Another possibility is Cameron Clay Products. The small blue bowl is almost 6 wide x 3 tall; yellow bowl is 7 wide x 3.25 tall and has some crazing and disoloration on interior; larger aqua bowl is 8 wide x 3.75 tall. All have dry bottom rims. The bottom rim of aqua bowl has 2 gouges in the dry clay which do not show and do not affect stance. They all fit into each other. 2/12dicsr

Marked: Church Gresley, Made in England, Mason Cash Co. #12. MCC company started in business in 1901, it took over TG Green in 2001. This bowl has a very dark, aged bottom rim. Age est: 1930's. Antiique Yellow Ware Ribbed Bowl Antique yellow ware ribbed shoulder bowl. Being sold as a collectible display item, not for food use as it is antique and is probably not up to today's standards for safe food or liquid usage or storage. Incised no. 10 on bottom. It is 10.25 wide x 5.25 tall. No chips or cracks. Lots of tiny goosebumps in the glaze, a tiny glaze pop on interior of bowl; and some discoloration as expected, but overall this bowl is in nice antique condition. I'd estimate its age as early 1900's. It's a really neat looking bowl. Bennington? 1/12dixcs

Miniature Vintage Stoneware Beanpots Four vintage miniature stoneware beanpots or cookie jars. Being sold as collectible display items only; I did not manufacture them so I don't know what they were made with; they might not be safe for food use. Aqua, Cornflower Blue, Brown, and Matte Lavender. All have unglazed yellow clay bottoms as a Zanesville item would have. These are shown in the ZSC book although a slight possibility they might be UHL or Rookwood since both companies made them too. These stand 3.25 tall x 3 wide. Some have pinpops, (lid of aqua jar); some clay gouges; and the brown one has a fleabite on rim edge, but no other chips or cracks. The lavendar one is extra special; I have never come across that color and I handle a ton of pottery. All have little ear/half moon style handles. These also might have been salesman's samples. labant3/09-ck

Antique Hull Yellow Ware Bowl Antique Hull Pottery yellow ware bowl. Blue bands. Incised mark: H in circle; #421, 8. It is 8 wide x 4 tall. This is being sold as a collectible display item; I did not manufacture it so I do not know whether it is food safe or not. There is some discoloration; this is common on antique yellowware, and 2 old small chips on top rim edge and a few tiny fleabites on top rim. Antique yellow ware is very brittle, porous pottery so it tends to discolor over time and is very prone to chipping especially if it was used to crack eggs on the rim. It still displays rather nice. 1/12scrs

Watt Pottery Bowl Nice sized bowl. This bowl is being sold as a collectible display item and not for food use since I did not make it and I don't know what it was made with. You could use if for faux fruit as a table centerpiece. Similar to the McCoy stonecraft line but I believe this one is Watt. Incised mark corresponds to Lehner's book of marks: Oven Ware USA on bottom. Most of the McCoy bowls have some form of McCoy logo or LCC or MCP on them. Also, this is an older bowl; note the aged, worn bottom rim, and McCoy stonecraft bowls were made later, not earlier than Watt. This bowl has faint crazing but no chips or cracks. One dark dot on interior bottom of bowl. It is 8.25 wide x 4 inches tall. 8/12smc
