Vintage ringed pottery bowl. It has the old incised keystone symbol with York P and Made in USA on bottom. This is an early Pfaltzgraff bowl; often just referred to as York Pottery. It has a dry bottom rim and is thick, heavy and well made. It has no cracks; the bottom rim has a tiny rough spot where rim meets dry bottom; see close up photo 5, and one faint brownish spot on upper rim edge which is under the glaze, photo 6. This cool bowl is 9 inches wide x 4.5 tall. The color is more of a teal blue; not a true blue. 3/17 |
