Antique English Revolving Butter Cooler
Antique English revolving butter cooler. Unique item. Brushed metal with revolving lid, the metal looks like pewter, and there is a glass insert. The glass insert has no dips in it for a cigarette which is why I think it must be a butter cooler and not an ash receiver. It has 3 legs with claw and ball feet. Incised, 'Made in England' mark on bottom, and it is 5.5 tall x 5. wide. You also get 6 crystal or flint glass coasters marked: 'France' on them which were purchased separately. 1/10rocs

Both have nice silver plate? lids and spoons, and bottom of jars read: Ironstone, Enoch Wedgwood Turnstall Ltd., England, with unicorn symbol. Antique Royal Bonn Cheesekeeper
Antique Royal Bonn transferware cheesekeeper. Or butterkeeper. Being sold as collectible display items and not for food use since I did not make them, nor do I know if they have anything harmful in them. The underplate was not with this item when purchased; so I put a nice vintage Homer Laughlin plate under it that has the same coloring on the rim edge, and looks rather nice with this item. The castle mark dates to 1836-1920. The mark is a green castle; backward FAM mark inside castle, then Bonn, Germany. FAM stands for Franz Anton Mehlem. The cheesekeeper has a vent hole in lid; features gorgeous pastel Irises, and has no chips or cracks but is showing a lot of wear around bottom rim edge. Very beautiful despite not having the original underplate for it, but you do get the HLC plate with it. If it had the original underplate, the price on it would be much, much higher!

Patented Antique Syrup Pitcher
Magnificent patented antique blown glass syrup pitcher. c:1884. Glows yellow under a UV/black light. Heavy duty glass with polished pontil on bottom. Inside lid reads: 'O H or O K, Pat. Jan. 19, 84'. This pitcher has a pewter lid which is slightly irregular around edge; common for old pewter since it is a soft metal. The glass has some bubbles in it, but no chips or cracks. It stands 7 tall x 3 wide at bottom. The gorgeous glass throws off a lot of colors in sunlight. Minimal age/wear. A fabulous piece of antique glass for your collection! 11/6-est

Outstanding antique blown glass syrup pitcher. (or creamer). pre 1916. Glows a strong yellow under UV light. Very thick, heavy, blown glass body with five 'wide panels' which may be the actual pattern name. Polished pontil; sparkles like crystal. Has a very darkened hinged metal lid, (likely quadruple plate but is not marked). Minimal age/wear; I consider it to be in good overall antique condition on this gorgeous pitcher. Belmont Zipper Antique Cruet Set
Antique castor condiment set. aka cruet set. pre 1916. Very Downton Abbey! The glass shows a strong yellow glow under a black UV light. Made by the Belmont Glass Co., pattern is 'Belmont Zipper' according to an e-mailer. Nice set; two bottles have glass finials; one has a metal sifter; other is a dry mustard jar. The bottles with the glass finials have teesny fleabites around top of finials, but nothing visually distracting. The bottles are 5.5 tall. The stand is 8.75 tall x 6.5 wide. Victorian Antique Cruet Set
Gorgeous antique castor set. pre 1916. These show up as yellow glow under a UV/black light. Well hallmarked on the mustard jar and other shaker. The hallmarks look like EP inside a crown that is inside a larger crown. There is an 'S' and 3 other hallmarks. The stand is 10.25 tall; and has a lion head on the handle. Bottom has incised W on it. The bottles all match; no visible chips or cracks. One cruet has a tiny fleabite on bottom of jar. These are either cut glass or crystal, not pressed. The stand has some tarnish on the interior of it which really doesn't show when bottles are in it. This set is in about the best antique condition I have come across. Antique Cruet Bottle Assortment
Antique cruet bottles. pre 1916. All of these glow yellow under a UV light. You get all 3 for one price; the tray is not included! First is an elegant cut blown glass bottle. It stands 6.5 tall. Etched flowers and verticle etched lines circling the body. It has a pontil mark on bottom. Next is a beautiful cut crystal bottle. Has some whitish marks on interior bottom and could use a good cleaning. I did not want to clean it because it takes so long for them to dry out so I leave that to you. It stands 6.5 tall. Last is a super old blown glass cruet that has some flaws. The handle has a straw mark; it looks like a hairline but can't feel anything so it is within the glass. It has a scratch on body of jar which only shows on one side, and a fissure within the glass near top neck area. This bottle is 7.5 tall x 3.5 wide and has a pontil mark on bottom; soak it in something to spruce it up even more. 3/13vs

Lovely antique dry mustard condiment jar with silver plate lid. c: pre 1916. The glass glows yellow under a black light. The lid is marked: EPNS. Nice old cut glass jar that stands 4.5 tall x 1.75 wide. The glass could use a better cleaning to bring out its beauty; it has some age/wear, tiny scuffing/scratching here and there, but nothing much and still displays fine; soak it in efferdent. Miller Rogaska Cruet Set
Gorgeous Miller Rogaska crystal cruet bottles. And a beautiful metal cruet stand as a free gift! These are contemporary cruets, but collectible. Not all items at estate sales are antiques, and these bottles do not look like they were ever used. The bottles are in the 'Soho' pattern, and have their original paper labels intact, as well as having an etched signature at the bottom which reads: 'Miller Rogaska'; the paper label reads: Miller Rogaska Crystal Handmade Slovenia. They are a bit over 8 tall, and about 3 wide across bottom rim. No chips or cracks, just lovely! The stand was purchased at an estate sale at a different time, but these bottles fit very nicely in it! Perfect for use or just display! estcs

M. & Co. Antique Cruet Set
Elegant antique cruet condiment set. c: pre 1916; the jars glow yellow under black light indicating they were made before the date listed above. Incised mark on bottom: .30, M & Co. EPNS A1, Hard Soldiered 8773. Age est: 1800's-early 1900's. This item was totally tarnished and black when purchased from an estate; I polished a lot of the tarnish away, it could use even more polishing but looks stunning now. It has 2 bottles for oil/vinegar, one bottle for dry mustard, and one that was likely for sugar or pepper. The stand is 9.5 tall x 4.75 wide. All the bottles are clear and just have a bit of dust in the bottoms but I leave the fine cleaning up to you. The sugar/pepper jar with the silverplate lid has some tiny chigger bites on the bottom, nothing noticeable because they are on the bottom. Overall, they are all in what I consider very good antique condition. I could not locate any information on this company so I presume it was not in business very long. The stand has one flaw: one of the corner bars has come detached from the square above it. It is not anything noticeable and you could take it to a jeweler to have it re-soddered to the frame or just leave as is since no one but me will ever be aware of it. This is a very elegant set suitable to use or just display in your formal dining room. 2/14est

Vintage English Jam Jar Set
Vintage English jam jar set. Very nice pressed glass jam jars with silver plated lids. The lids and stand are marked: Silverplate England. These are nice size jars, very practical. Most of the ones I come across are very tiny and not very functional for actual use. The jars are 4 inches tall up to lid finial x 3.25 wide. No chips or cracks; 4 molds lines. The metal was black when purchased so I did a light polishing just to be able to find the marks. The stand could be polished more but I leave that up to you. If you like to serve marmalade/jam at your elegant breakfast or at teatime, this is the perfect set for you! Age est: 1920's-40's. 1/15

Antique blown cut glass cruet bottle. Age: pre 1916. It has an unpolished pontil mark on the bottom. It is a beautiful bottle with deep cut pattern. The stopper might not be the original but it was on this bottle when purchased. The bottle without the stopper on is 5.75 tall. You could display it with or without the stopper. This bottle glows yellow under a black light indicating it was made prior to 1916. No chips or cracks.

Vintage jam, marmalade or sugar jar. Very elegant jar, (enlarge the photos). The silver plate spoon that was with this when purchased is marked: Masterpeice Silverplate, Japan. Not sure if was original to this jar or not. The jar appears to be a pressed cut glass/pattern glass. Very sparkly. The lid and spoon were black when purchased so I polished them with Maas silver cleaner. The jar is 5.5 tall up to lid finial x 3.25 wide. No chips or cracks. Age estimate: 1930's-40's. Antique Fruit Syrup Pitcher
Antique syrup pitcher with fruit design. c: pre 1917. Glows yellow under black light indicating it was made before 1917. Very neat antique pitcher with tin lid and raised strawberries and leaves on it. It stands 7 inches tall. The glass is quite clear; just the bottom is very aged and opaque. The interior glass spout has some fleabites and crackles in it, but that does not show when lid is closed and I doubt you'd want to use it for anything but display with other antique glass items. Vintage Cruets and Tray
Two matching cruet bottles, and a glass tray! The bottles are both in good condition and look somewhat like the ones shown in the book on Hazel Atlas Glass, however, these are not marked with the HA logo. They have raised numbers: #12, 4-5 on bottoms. They stand 5.75 tall and have gold bands with gold wheat motif circling the body of the glass. The tray has no chips or cracks either; is just missing some of the gold off the rim edge. (The tray was purchased at a different time than the bottles; but looks great with these cruets!). It is 8.75 long x 5.5 wide. A very nice set that you can actually use! Age estimate: 1950's.

Antique cut glass mustard jar. Pretty cut glass jar. Good display condition but has some minor flaws. It has one fleabite and a tiny rough spot on underside of lid and some little dip marks on lid which seem to just be the way it was when it was made because they are not chips or fleabites. This piece glows yellow under a UV light indicating it was made prior to 1916 but I doubt it was ever used except for display. It stands 3.75 tall x 2.25 wide. 9/10decestcs
