Patented Victorian hand painted milk glass syrup pitcher with applied handle and metal lid. (lid is likely EPNS, possibly pewter lid). Incised mark on lid: Pat's Apr. 26, 81, (1881); Mar 28, 82, (1882). It stands 6.25 tall x 2.5 wide at bottom base. No chips or cracks. Lid is slightly dented near top finial. Has a pouring spout when lid is lifted up. What a fabulous unique antique item for your milk glass collection! 4/06ggau#1402 |
