Japan Flower Shaker Set Vintage Japan flower shaker set. For some reason this doesn't look so good in the photos, but it is a very attractive and unique shaker set. The flowers have lusterware bottoms and the bottom of the basket is also lustre finish. Very cute, colorful set. Made by the Hotta Yu Shoten & Co, pre 1947. Cork stoppers. One teensy fleabite on the basket near a flower and one small glaze miss. You have to search close to even spot the miniscule flaws. Some of the gold paint has worn off the handle as is expected for an almost 70 year old item. 9/14

Antique Oriental Ebony? Shakers Antique Oriental ebony? shakers. These are very old, heavy shakers, featuring an oriental man & woman. The man is showing a lot of age/wear, but the woman is in good antique condition. I believe this is ebonized wood. The man is 3 inches tall. Both are missing the bottom corks. Just great items to display, and they look good amongst primitives or oriental type items! Very unique items, could be worth much more!

Victorian Antique Cruet Set Gorgeous antique castor set. pre 1916. These show up as yellow glow under a UV/black light. Well hallmarked on the mustard jar and other shaker. The hallmarks look like EP inside a crown that is inside a larger crown. There is an 'S' and 3 other hallmarks. The stand is 10.25 tall; and has a lion head on the handle. Bottom has incised W on it. The bottles all match; no visible chips or cracks. One cruet has a tiny fleabite on bottom of jar. These are either cut glass or crystal, not pressed. The stand has some tarnish on the interior of it which really doesn't show when bottles are in it. This set is in about the best antique condition I have come across. Perfect to use or just display! 1/11antmc

Vintage Cut Glass Shakers Three pairs of vintage glass shakers for one price. Two of these pairs are likely antique. First is the cut glass small pair with sterling lids. One of the lids is quite dark. This pair is 3 inches tall. Next is a gorgeous cut glass/crystal pair that is 3.25 tall. Not sure what the lids are made of but they are not marked and do have some age/wear showing on them, (they are not sterling). Last is a pattern glass pair with sterling lids, (not cut glass); lids are very dark with age. These are 4 inches tall and have a no. 1 and no. 2 mark on the bottoms. Nice old shakers to start or supplement your shaker collection! 4/13vs

cruetset2014

M. & Co. Antique Cruet Set Elegant antique cruet condiment set. c: pre 1916; the jars glow yellow under black light indicating they were made before the date listed above. Incised mark on bottom: .30, M & Co. EPNS A1, Hard Soldiered 8773. Age est: 1800's-early 1900's. This item was totally tarnished and black when purchased from an estate; I polished a lot of the tarnish away, it could use even more polishing but looks stunning now. It has 2 bottles for oil/vinegar, one bottle for dry mustard, and one that was likely for sugar or pepper. The stand is 9.5 tall x 4.75 wide. All the bottles are clear and just have a bit of dust in the bottoms but I leave the fine cleaning up to you. The sugar/pepper jar with the silverplate lid has some tiny chigger bites on the bottom, nothing noticeable because they are on the bottom. Overall, they are all in what I consider very good antique condition. I could not locate any information on this company so I presume it was not in business very long. The stand has one flaw: one of the corner bars has come detached from the square above it. It is not anything noticeable and you could take it to a jeweler to have it re-soddered to the frame or just leave as is since no one but me will ever be aware of it. This is a very elegant set suitable to use or just display in your formal dining room. 2/14est

Crystal EPNS Vintage Shakers Elegant vintage crystal silverplate shakers. The lids have incised EPNS mark on them. Gorgeous shakers. I really thought these were Waterford because I have a pair of Lismore shakers that are the same shape, weight, height, but different pattern see photo #5, but I cannot find an etched Waterford mark on these, just the EPNS mark. And, my Waterford's have a stainless lid, not silverplate, as these do. They are very clear and sparkling, and are 3.75 tall. The lids were black when purchased from an estate and they had salt & pepper still in them. I dumped that out, but one has a tiny tad of white residue on interior bottom which you can only see if you turn it upside down. Not sure if that can be removed or not but since it not visible from top display side, I do not consider this a flaw. 2/14sst

Imperial Glass Shakers & Tray Vintage Imperial milk glass shakers with stand. The shakers have the raised IG mark on bottoms which dates them to: 1951-1972. They are fat, good sized shakers with chrome lids and stand 4.5 inches tall. Grape design. They have two tiny flaws: one of the lids has a tiny scuff mark; one of the shakers has some teensy tiny black dots; see closeup photos 6-7. Otherwise, very elegant, usable shakers for your next formal dinner party! The milk glass stand was purchased separately at an estate sale but the shakers fit on it very nicely. It appears to be older milk glass. 2/15vs

Vintage D'Art Craftsman Shakers Vintage D'Art Craftsman New York Shakers. Lovely pressed/pattern glass shaker set. No chips or cracks. The glass shakers are 3.25 tall and fit snugly in the stand they came with which is marked: D'Art Craftsman New York. The stand is 4.5 x 4.5. I could not locate any info on this company so I assume it is no longer in business. The only flaw is a tiny dark spot on the center of the stand which is not detracting and is minor. I think the metal is sheet metal; it is not silverplate or pewter. Age estimate: 1920's-40's. A great pair to use or just display! 4/15

Antique Glass Shakers For sale are antique glass shakers. Gorgeous pair of pressed/pattern glass shakers with what looks like sterling silver tops. The top on one of them is a bit dinged and tarnished, but the glass on these shakers is very pretty, no chips or cracks. These have pontil marks on bottoms, and stand 3 inches tall. The pattern on these shakers match the pattern on the antique cruet bottles I also have for sale, but I do not know the pattern name.
