Boxed set of lovely religious childrens books. This set is being sold as a collectible display item only; not for use by children. There are 5 soft cover books with vivid coloring. Book 1 is cpr. 1966; has paintings by Harry Anderson, Russel Harlan, Vernon Nye, and various other artists. Book 2 is also 1966. Book 3 is 1967; book 4 is 1967; book 5 is 1967. There are no other copyrights in these books so they might all be lst editions. All are titled: Psalms for Tiny Tots with different pictures and subject matter in each.

Antique Book - Indians Today
Antique book titled Indians Today. c.1926. By Flora Seymour, published by Benj. H. Sanborn & Co. No other copyright date in this book so I assume it's a lst edition. Apparently this was the property of the South Intermediate School. The book has a stamp that says it is no longer the property of S. Intermediate Library. The author was a member of the Board of Indian Commissioners. This book is chock full of condescending language regarding Native Americans, and stereotypes. However, it does has some nice pictures of various Native Americans, e.g., George Gist, Dr. Charles A. Eastman, Chief Joseph, etc. Some are reprints from the Smithsonian, and some are original photos taken by the author's husband George Seymour. The hardcover edges are slightly tattered, and there is one page that has some tape on it, and another that has a corner torn off and that's about it; the rest of the book is fine.

Next is a Campbells 1975 Main Dishes cookbook spiral with 134 pages; in good overall condition and no other copyright date. Slight wear on bottom hardcover. Last is Campbells Cooking With Soup spiral; 199 pages, good overall condition, no copyright date. Slight wear/rubs on bottom hardcover area. Neat vintage cookbooks for your kitchen collection! Super cool first edition, first print cookbook. Titled: Betty Crocker's New Boys and Girls Cook Book. c:1965; 155 pages; spiral hardbound. Golden Press, Gloria Kamen is the illustrator. There actually is no ISBN no. since this predates those. The only flaw in this book is first page, bottom 2 holes are coming loose from spiral, see pic #3, and that is it! Look at those graphics! Reminds me of the Archie comic book covers. Great book just to save and store since it is quite collectible. Peek through and you will see many of the vintage kitchen gadgets I sell like bakelite syrup pitchers; biscuit cutters; Pyrex; rolling pins; nut choppers; cake savers; etc. The perfect gift for someone who collects lst edit. vintage cookbooks! 4/10csnh

British Glass book 1800-1914. It does not say lst edition, but reads: First published in 1991 and reprinted in 1993 and 1995. So I assume it is a first edition, 3rd printing. Hardcover; color pages; 466 pages, by Charles r. Hajdamach. The book is in very good condition; upon perusal I do not see any marks or torn pages, however I have not gone through every single page. Binding is tight. The only wear I see is on the dust jacket where it likely had a sticker price on it in the upper right hand corner; that area has some remnants of where the sticker was. The book table of contents cover: Glasshouses; Etching; Cameo Glass; Rock Crystal; Pressed & Cut Glass; Novelties; etc. A must have book if you buy or sell art glass and need to identify it. There is no price guide in it but price guides are worthless anyway since the market fluctuates so much. 4/18

General Motors 75th anniversary auto book. (not vintage yet, but is collectible!) This book was issued on GM's 75th Anniversary in 1983, thus, it is not only a lst edition book, but also a limited edition book. It has wonderful color photos of all the cars GM ever produced, from the classic to the futuristic experimentals on just about all of its 223 pages. The upper right corner is frayed on inside; and binding is a little loose. You could just display it, or take out the pictures for framing or reselling. brncs
