Huge Antique Mirrored Plateau
Huge antique mirrored plateau. These can be used as vanity trays, as table centerpieces to showcase crystal items, or on wetbars to hold your fancy liquor bottles. This one is 15.5 across from metal ends or 13.5 across the mirror. The mirror is silvered glass with a beveled edge. It is the largest round plateau I have come across. It has lots of little scratches and some of the edges of mirror are cloudy, (that is common on these plateaus). It has a metal bottom. Once you set your pretty items on it, you won't see the flaws. If you are in MI area, shipping won't be too bad, but if you are outside the MI ship zone, it will be costly because of the large box size and packaging. This is the largest plateau I've come across; that crystal bowl in one of the photos is also very large. 10/22br

Vintage Stylebuilt Vanity Tray
Vintage Stylebuilt vanity try. Nice tray with a silver finish. Small enough to fit into a curio cabinet to display all your pretty crystal or glass collections like perfume bottles, boxes, syrup pitchers, toothpick holders, paperweights; see photos 6-7. It has very little wear on it and is 16 long x 8 wide. It is marked on the back of the handle: Stylebuilt Made in USA. It has one little break in the metal seam that goes around the tray that is not noticeable unless looking for it. Not sure if that is where the seam ends or if it is a break; see magnified photo 5. It doesn't affect anything; the glass is tight. Flat velvet bottom. Great for more contemporary style rooms also due to the silvery color. 12/17

Porcelain Vanity Tray and Accessories
Fabulous porcelain vanity tray with accessories. Large, elegant feminine tray with matching cologne bottles, and a powder box. You are only paying for the tray and cologne bottles, the powder box is free since the lid has a crack in it. The tray looks small in the photos because I had to take the shot from afar to fit it all in. The tray has a blue beehive mark and number which looks like a Royal Vienna mark, however, it is an overglaze mark, thus, it may be another company from the same region. RV marks are supposed to be under the glaze, however, porcelain vanity tray bottoms are rarely glazed. According to research, about 40 other factories in the same geographic region copied Royal Vienna items, and depending on the quality of the item, they can be quite pricey. See Antiques Roadshow; a RV copy was worth $5-$8,000! Whether this is a true RV mark or another company from that region is not certain. The tray has a blue number #7730 and beehive; and no chips or cracks, and is 16 x 12 inches; raised painted flowers, and gold accents. The cologne bottles are 10.5 tall; just showing some wear off the gold on the stoppers; and are numbered: #7727 with blue beehive mark, no chips or cracks. The powder box is also numbered #7727 with blue beehive symbol; the lid had been previously repaired by someone, and the gold is somewhat worn on top finial. Aside from the crack on the powder box, this entire set is in very good condition, and is quite stunning whether it is RV or another similar company. It came from a very affluent estate sale; folks went into assisted living. 9/05brdwn

Apollo Antique Vanity Tray & Brush
Antique Apollo vanity tray with a hand mirror. c: 1909-1922. The tray is marked Apollo but the beveled hand mirror is not marked, but it also looks like an Apollo item, (very intricate metal work on it). The tray has heavy brass metal surround and has darkened with age. You can gold leaf it, shabby chic it, leave as is, or use antique gold paint to brighten it up. It is a lovely silvered mirrored tray with some some faint surface and age wear showing as expected. However, once you set your perfume bottles and jars on it, you won't notice any flaws. It is 17 long x 12.25 wide. The mirror is 9 long x 4.5 wide. You can also use these as table centerpieces with a large crystal bowl or vase displayed on it. 1/13

Stylebuilt Vanity Tray & Mirror
Very attractive oval vanity mirror and an enameled hand mirror. The tray is marked: Stylebuilt Made in USA; has angels and heart design on handles. It is 13 long x 7 wide. The mirror in the vanity tray is a wee bit loose, but when sitting on a table it is just fine. The hand mirror is very pretty; it has an enameled picture on one side with an onyx handle. 12/10s#

Matson Mirrored Tray
Nice vintage Matson mirrored vanity tray. It is 16.75 long x 9.25 wide. Very tiny Matson name and number on back end part. It is not as bright gold as the pic shows it; it is somewhat darkened with age but the camera tends to illuminate metal objects. A couple of minor scratches, nothing you will see once you place your perfume bottles on it! You can brighten these up with some metallic gold paint or even shabby chic them with white paint and a dry brush. 10/11scsr

Large Victorian Beveled Mirror
Large antique beveled mirror vanity plateau. Original tin bottom. No maker's mark on it. The metal surround is a bit tarnished and there is some fine minor scratching as expected on the mirror. It will be beautiful on a vanity table with all your pretty perfume bottles, or on a dining table with a crystal bowl on it! Mirrored Vintage Vanity Tray
Very pretty vanity tray. The items on the tray are for sale separately. This looks like a Matson or Globe tray, but is not marked. No chips or cracks. There is some very fine gold mesh/freckles in the mirror, not sure if this is part of the design or to the aging process, but it really doesn't detract since is is very fine and all over so it just looks like part of the design. Once you set your perfume bottles, toothpicks, crystal shakers, etc. on it, it looks very elegant anyway. It will fit on a china cabinet shelf also. It is 15 long x 8 wide. 1/09labant-ck

Victorian mirrored plateau for sale. Lovely old tray with gold metal surround. Beaded style edge on the silvered mirror; original tin bottom. There is some wear; glass is somewhat cloudy; minor scratches as expected, but once you set your crystal items on it, you won't see the flaws. Vanity Tray w/Lipstick Holder Vintage
Lovely vintage vanity tray with lipstick holder. I am confident this is a Matson tray; either the mark just did not come out on the metal or I can't find it. It is faintly numbered the same as other Matson trays I have sold, #368 which you need a magnifier to see. This tray is in overall 'good vintage' condition; a few specks/scratches but once you put items on it, you won't see them. It is 15.5 long x 10.25 wide; mirror is 12 long x 8.5 wide. Felt back and has a ring for hanging. You also get the lovely lipstick holder with poodle dogs and 5 holders. If you need perfection however, don't buy vintage. As is, as described. 2/12labcsr+4/12

Vintage vanity accessories. First the the oval tray which I am 99% sure is a Matson tray. It has the daisy flowers on ends, and where the mark should be on the underside of an end is a glob of gold; this is probably a factory flubber. This tray is 9.5 wide x 16.75 long. It has some minor tiny scratches; nothing visually impairing and you won't see them when your other items are atop it. Next is a gorgeous vintage hand mirror that looks like an Apollo item. Very intricate metalwork. One side of mirror is regular, other side enlarges the image. Next is a lovely vintage footed trinket box. And, last is a vintage lipstick holder. The lipstick holder is showing some wear, (the gold paint is starting to fade away a bit on this item; just re-spray it with antique gold paint). 3/13vs

Large Oval Matson Vanity Tray
Large oval Matson vanity tray. Backside has the Matson mark and #150. It also has the paper label: Matson Mfg. Co., T 50, 10 x 19 Rose Gold. It is actually 10 x 18.5 and the gold is brighter than the photos are showing. Nice condition; just a couple of minor faint scratches. Nothing you will see once you display your perfume bottles and powder boxes on it. The design on the handles are a rose with petals design. Other items on the tray in the photos are sold separately. Vanity Tray and Dresser Box
Vintage vanity tray and dresser box. This is a very striking tray which has a 24K gold plated non-tarnishable foil label on it when purchased, but it disintegrated when I cleaned the mirror. The box has beveled glass and is footed. It is 3.25 tall x 4 wide x 4 deep. Minor age/wear. The mirrored tray is 17 long x 8 wide. The mirrored tray is a great size for inside a china cabinet to display other items on it, or on the vanity table. It is quite pretty but has a tiny piece of the metal tip part that juts out into the mirror that is missing, see photos 7-8. Pic #7 shows one side that is fine and pic #8 shows the other side where the tiny piece of metal is broken off. The mirror also has gold freckles all over it which I think is by design. I have some other old mirrors that also have the gold freckles on them. And, the backside velvet has mostly flaked off. Once you set your perfume bottles, boxes on this tray you won't see the flaws anyway. I would guess this is a vintage Globe or Apollo tray but it is not marked other than having had the 24 K foil label which is now gone. Age estimate: 1930's-40's. 11/13

Vintage vanity tray and mirrored lipstick holder tray. The larger oval tray is likely a Matson tray. It matches some of the other Matson trays I have sold; daisy pattern. The mark is missing, but that is common. This tray has a couple of tiny scratches, but once you put your perfume jars, powder boxes on it, you won't see any flaws. You can use it in a curio cabinet to showcase your crystal shakers, toothpick holders, syrup pitchers, etc. Everything looks better atop a mirror! This tray is 17.5 long x 9.5 wide. The smaller mirrored tray holds 3 lipsticks and 2 smaller items like small makeup brushes. It has cherubs flanking the sides; no maker's mark. It is 7.5 long x 5.5 wide x 1.75 tall. The smaller mirror is brighter than the larger mirror. You can redo the metal with white, pink or silver paint depending on the look you want and the room they are going into. Pretty accessories for your vanity table, powder room, curio cabinet, etc. 8/16

Hardly any wear; just a wee bit tarnished on the rose handle ends. You can use a tiny paintbrush and some gold paint to touch it up if you need it to look 'newer'. You also get the vintage Globe 24K gold plated perfume bottle. It is almost 5.5 tall and has a rose pattern. Last is the 3 tube lipstick holder with a tiny Stylebuilt N.Y. mark on the bottom. Vintage vanity assortment. First is the large vintage double sided beveled mirror with cherub stand. No cracks on mirror; just has some flecks in it. Looks like a Matson or Globe mirror. It is 13.5 tall x 9.5 wide. Next is the mirrored tray that is 15.25 long x 8.25 wide. It has a small silver loss blemish on it but works great to display your vintage shaving accessories. Next is a vintage gold glass holder likely a Matson or Stylebuilt, and last is a vintage toilet paper cover. Toilet paper rolls are much bigger than they used to be so if you use this you'll have to buy smaller rolls or take some of the tp off the roll for this cover to fit over the roll. Vanity Tray & Lipstick Holder Vintage
Vintage vanity tray & lipstick holder. Neither have a maker's mark but I am confident the tray is a vintage Matson tray due to the daisy design. It is 17.5 long x 9.5 wide. It has a wee bit of tarnish as expected on the gold, and a couple of dark streaks near the edges of the mirror which indicates this is a 'silvered mirror', hence it is an older item; see photo 6. It also has a burgandy felt backing; newer trays just have a cardboard like backing. You also get the lipstick/makeup brush holder. It is 4.5 tall x 3 wide. The brushes go in the long slender tube. If you want to brighten up the tray; tape off the mirror with paper, the spray paint the gold with bright gold spray paint. Or, you can shabby chic it with white paint, or paint it silver, or leave it as is. 2/19vs

German Perfume Bottle and Glass Tray
West German perfume bottle and vanity tray. Lovely collectible perfume bottle with foil label: Made in West Germany. It stands 6.75 tall and is about 2.75 wide and I believe it is crystal. It has one small surface flake off exterior top rim of bottle; nothing really visually impairing; you can't even see it without your readers on. A lovely bottle to use or just display! You also get the pretty pressed glass vanity tray to set your perfume bottles on! The tray has no chips or cracks, and is 14 long x 8.5 wide.

Limoges Antique Signed Tray
Antique hand painted artist signed Pouyat French limoges porcelain tray. c:1899. Signed, Anna K. Stiotel '99, with green J.P.L. over France backstamp. The painting is quite exquisite, and if it weren't signed Anna K. Stiotel it could easily be mistaken for a Bischoff painting. There is a lot of depth in the painting; it is not just roses on a blank background. No chips, cracks, or repairs. It does have a couple of tiny aging flaws: some white/straw marks on the pink rose and the burdgandy rose, and some wear off the gold on the handle as can be expected for a 100+ year tray. It is 12.5 long x 8.75 wide. Ornately scrolled shape with pierced handles. 5/03brcs
