French Iridescent Signed Art Pottery
Fabulous signed vintage iridescent art pottery swan vase. c:1891-1957. The signature looks like F. Gazietto, Vallauris, however, a collector has notified me the signature is actually 'J. Gazielle'; (the artist crossed the ll's like t's, and the 'F' is actually a 'J'. This artist worked from 1891-1957 in Vallauris, France. Judging by the dark, worn, smooth bottom rim and all over crazing, I'd guess it is from the 1920's. The iridescent glaze is gorgeous. It looks like Tiffany art glass but this is old pottery not glass. Very hefty. It is 6 inches tall x 6.5 long. According to the collector this artist also had some connection to Weller Sicard and early Pewabic Pottery who also specialized in this type of iridescent glaze. It has 2 minor flaws; one small chip on wing edge and one fleabite on tail feather edge. The flaws look larger due to close-up shots; but in reality, they are not really very noticeable. It is a deep blue/green but also has amethyst in it; when it is dark out, it looks amethyst. The glazing on this piece is spectacular. This is a heavy piece and quite stunning! 6/11smc

Vintage McCoy Aqua Swan Vase
Beautiful matte aqua tall vintage McCoy swan vase. c:1946. Raised McCoy USA mark on bottom. This vase is 9.25 tall; no chips or cracks. Some interior soil residue. A great display vase! The glossy versions of this vase came out in the early 1950's. Guaranteed vintage McCoy Pottery. This vase sells for over $120 at many antique shops here in MI! Why pay more? Vintage McCoy Pottery satin matte aqua swan vase. c:1940's. I have 2 in stock; the price is for ONE swan. If you want both, hit quantity 2. Good sized swans, though they appear kind of small in the pics; shown on pgs. 64-65, Vol. 1). Good vintage condition, no chips or cracks. Some interior soil residue; dry flat unglazed/unmarked bottoms, and the book indicates these swans were not marked. 6 long x 5.25 tall x 2.75 wide. Vintage Swan Planters
Three vintage swan planters. = only $10 each. All have the color yellow in common. The lst one is an American Bisque swan; 4.5 tall x 5 ling, no chips or cracks. Next swan is 5.25 tall x 5 long and is not marked. It looks like something Am. Bisque would have made. No chips or cracks but has a dark spot above the eye on one side. This swan has 2 heads. Last is a swan marked USA and is 4 tall x 6.25 long. My guess is Brush McCoy; dry white clay bottom rim. No chips or cracks; some cold paint missing on the swans beak. These are also listed individually; but cheaper to buy in the grouping. 12/13

McCoy Pottery Swan Vase Planter
Vintage McCoy swan vase planter. c: 1947, shown in the Vol. 1 book, pg. 149, hand decorated. Cool item; have not come across this one before and I've been hunting McCoy for over 45 years! This is a good sized vase/planter with raised McCoy mark on the bottom. It stands almost 6.5 tall x 6.5 long x 5.5 wide. Minor Mcflaws, see photos: it has a large bubble pop on the rim edge; a small tight hairline on the interior rim; and some old soil or floral goop on the interior. Stick a faux plant in it and it looks great! The flaws are minimal and I do not consider them to be detrimental to its overall appearance or value. 7/17

Swan Planter Trio Vintage
Three vintage swan planters. = only $10/each! Very confident these are a Cameron Clay Products novelty planters. CC Pottery was an American company that is no longer in business; they made a lot of novelty planters and are similar in design, glazes and weight to McCoy Pottery. These swans have no chips or cracks; just a couple dots where the gold has rubbed off on the gold one primarily. They are almost 5 tall x 5.5 long. The blue one has an incised mark #288?, and white one has 188 or 288 can't tell for sure. Gold one just has a depression in the glaze where the number would be. The other companies who could have made these are Brush McCoy or Royal Copley; those companies also had dry runner on many of their novelty planters. 3/16
