Vintage Dutch Shaped Pottery Shoes
Vintage Dutch shaped pottery shoes. I am very confident these are UHL Pottery; they are shown in the UHL book; same thickness and shape; different color and size. They did come in various sizes and colors though. These are 5.5 long x 3.75 tall. They are about 1/4 inch thick; no chips or cracks. Very cute, sturdy planters. 12/14

Nelson McCoy Pottery Shoe
Vintage Nelson McCoy Pottery shoe. c: 1941, called a 'Mary Ann' show. Matte blue shoe. Marked: NM USA on bottom. It is a bit over 3 inches tall x 5 long. It has one tight small hairline on upper rim; one spider line there also, and a small yellowed spot on shoe. Not sure what that is from but it doesn't come off. Displays very nice, and you can use it for a small plant, live or faux. 11/12

FAPCO Shoe Planters Vintage
Two vintage FAPCO USA shoe planters. These are listed on another site as being Shawnee, but someone else said they are shown in the FAPCO book, page 89. And, they are marked USA on them. They are in good condition; no chips or cracks. They are 3.75 tall x 4.5 long. They do have some crazing. The aqua is a semi-matte; the yellow is gloss. These small novelty planters are great if you don't have a lot of space but love vintage USA pottery! The pink show planter is for sale separately. 1/13scsr

Vintage Pottery Shoe Planters
Adorable vintage pottery shoe planters. 3 for one price. Heavy pottery baby shoe planters/vases. The same shoe is shown in the ZSC book, but these shoes have white clay so they might have been made by another American pottery company; most of the companies made similar shoe planters back in the day. They are 4 long. The shoes are in good vintage condition and all are identical but for the colors. They are 4 long x 2 wide.

McCoy Pottery Twin Shoes
Vintage McCoy Pottery Twin Shoes. c.1940's. Adorable, but flawed, so price is drastically reduced, and now you can use them! Pale pink/bisque color and have large bows. They are identical with the McCoy shoes shown on pg. 167 of the 1980 Coll's Ency. of McCoy Pottery by B. Huxford. These shoes came in pink and blue. These shoes are 5 wide x 4 deep x 2.5 high. These are very heavy little shoes, but have two flaws. One is a noticeable dark circular spot on left shoe top, (it is under the glaze however so this is a factory flaw); and the left shoe front toe has a hairline that runs to the side of the shoe about 1.5 inches. The hairline is not really visible from about a foot away.
