Vintage Leather Toiletry Case Vintage
Vintage red leather toiletry case. E-mail me and I will tell you what kind of leather it appears to be. Interior tag reads: Pat Appl For; Red E Case, Model R. It has the key and all the original bottles; 3 rectangular bottles for cologne, etc. and 3 round jars for pomade, powder, lotion, etc. Has 3 long compartments that open for your brushes/combs. A large mirrored back, (mirror is showing its age), and the bottom also opens to place other items. Overall condition is what I consider good vintage. Corners and handle have some wear; 2 tiny breaks in leather on the top, see pic, and the leather tabs that snap are in place, but when you lift out the compartments they do come off, see pic 7 and 8. A good shoe repair guy can spruce this up and maybe fix the tabs but it is fine to leave as is if just using for display. This case is 6.75 tall if laying flat; if standing up it is 10.5 tall; x 14.75 long x 10.75 deep. A very attractive old case! You virtually never find these with the bottles intact.

Vintage H & M Train Case
Very stylish vintage train case with leather trim. Metal tag reads: H & M St. Louis, MO. Nice vintage condition, (no key), opens and closes freely. It has a plastic tray inside. Minimal wear; some stains on interior bottom cloth, but really not bad. It is 13.5 long x 7.5 tall; up to handle it is 10.5 tall, and 9 inches wide. These cases were used for makeup and toiletry items back in the days when most people travelled by trains, not planes. Very stylish! Can be used to display or store vintage hankies, doilies, kitchen linens, etc. 3/10lab#2950

Cowhide Doctor's Bag Vintage
Vintage doctor's bag. Bottom reads: Upjohn, Top Grain Genuine Cowhide. Nice looking old bag. One side seam needs re-sewing; a purse or shoe repair man can do it; presumably this is from opening and closing it for many years, see pic #3. Pic #4 is the interior. It is 14 long x 8 tall x 6 wide. A great display item, or use it for Halloween! Or, fill it with vintage stethoscope, bp cuff, etc. and give as a gift to the collector of medical items! 9/12brcs

Vintage cowhide doctor's bag. Cool old bag; cowhide leather. Good overall condition. Age est:early 20th C. Minor wear on edges of leather; use black shoe cream to preserve and protect the leather. Antique Victorian Beaded Purse
Antique Victorian glass beaded purse. It has a very detailed metal clasp. The clasp is in good condition; the beaded portion is in pretty good condition too; just one tiny circular spot on one side, near bottom where some of the beads are missing, and on the wooden ball that hangs off the bottom of bag, some of the strands of beads are missing there. This bag is 9 long from top of clasp to bottom, and 6.5 wide. It features red roses, yellow daisies and green leaves. I have it filled with some tissue paper so you can see how it is supposed to look. It has a satin lining; and there are some stains on the interior, but who cares, you don't see those. A very pretty bag for your collection! If you're a crafter, you could repair the flaws. #1169.djau9.05

Italian mesh purse. Lovely metal mesh purse that is in very good condition. Inside tag reads: Apele Italia, Designs of Italy. Vintage Whiting & Davis Silver Mesh Purse
Small vintage Whiting & Davis mesh purse. Very attractive bag! The metal appears to be silver plate and is marked: 'Whiting & Davis Co. mesh bags #2869'. Very solid, sturdy little bag. Nice overall condition; just a wee bit of tarnish on exterior rim. Also has the W&D cloth tag inside purse, and the handle is also a very fine mesh. It is 4.25 long from metal rim edge to bottom of bag and 4.25 wide. These vintage purses are selling for over $165 at estate sales these days, so why pay more?
