Signed Hopi Pottery Vase
Signed Hopi pottery vase. Signed: L.L. with flower symbol. No chips or cracks; some age wear. This item doesn't look new, but does not look antique either. It is 4.5 tall. It looks very similar to a vase done by Sadie Adams on the King Galleries website, but the artist on this vase is different. Nice piece for your collection! USA destinations only. 10/09estcs

Santa Clara Black Pottery Vase
Vintage artist signed black pottery vase. Likely Santa Clara pottery. It is looks fairly old, but I cannot read the signature. The name starts with San.... and the last name looks like Diego? Enlarge the photos, maybe you know who this artist is. It has no chips or cracks but does show some scuffing and wear. It stands only 4.5 inches tall and is 4 inches wide. 7/22scc

Hand Thrown Art Pottery
Southwest style art pottery vase. Very HEAVY hand formed vase with a Southwest/Native American geometric design. Feels like stoneware; has ridges on interior indicating it was hand made. The black coloring on it is actually darker than the pictures show; my battery was low. This vase has an incised mark: SB RTR. and what looks like a symbol and a 5. Good condition, no chips or cracks. It measures about 6 wide x 3.25 tall. Would be lovely with mission, southwest style furnishings, or with other stoneware.
Manufacturer: SB RTR

Nicolasa Santa Clara Black Pottery
Vintage Santa Clara black pottery vase signed: Nicolasa, Santa Clara. Nicolasa Naranjo, c: 1907-2002. Research indicates this would have made in the 1980's. Nicolasa is the daughter of Tomacita and Agapito Naranjo, and grandaugher of Sara Tafoya, a cousin of the well known Margaret Tafoya. Nicolasa was a distinguished potter in her own right. This vase is 5.5 long x 4.5 wide x 2.5 tall. Attractive vase; minimal age/wear; no chips or cracks. Very collectible piece than can go in an Arts & Crafts room, modern or contemporary rooms too! 7/18utcs
