Oriental Miniature Vases
Oriental miniature vases. All 3 for one price. Not sure if they are Chinese or Japanese; they are not marked. They are only 3.25 inches tall. Nice condition; enameled metal. Nice if you don't have a lot of space but like miniatures. Or, this might sound morbid, but if you have a death in the family and they are cremated, these could potentially be used for ashes and given to family members as a remembrance. And, as far as I know they were never used for that purpose; they were clean inside when purchased! 3/16

Art Pottery Salesman's Sample Miniature
Art pottery salesman's sample or miniature. Neat tiny oil jar with blended glaze. UHL, Ransbottom, and Shawnee are the 3 companies that I know of that made miniatures. This item has no chips or cracks and is 3 inches tall. Rare to find these little ones; and great if you lack a lot of space to display vintage pottery. In the UHL book, the minis range from $125 to $1200! 12/14adjpr

Antique Miniature Stoneware Vessels
Three cool antique stoneware vessels. Miniature size. The smallest has cobalt blue acorn symbol and reads: 'Old Continental Whiskey'; no chips or cracks; bottom rim is somewhat irregular. It is 3.75 tall; some crazing and old cork stopper. The acorn symbol was used by the UHL Pottery Co. The next one has one handle and is 4.5 tall, no chips/cracks. The last one has the original stoneware lid and is 5.25 tall and very old dark worn bottom. I cannot get the lid off this item. These miniature vessels are great if you don't have a lot of space; you can display them on old children's cupboards, or other types of racks. varisx3

Miniature Vintage Stoneware Vessels
Four vintage mini stoneware vessels. First is the brown/white Paden City Artware jug that is 3 inches tall. It has a noticeable glaze depression in the body of jug but that is just how it was made. Next is a very cool crock with ears and vertical lines; 2.75 tall, no lid. Next is a 2 handles jug with cork stopper that is 3.75 tall. Last is a one handled jug that is 4.25 tall and has faint mark on bottom that I cannot make out. It has some glaze pops on it also. Cool minis if you don't have a lot of space to display stuff. These look cool on old wooden spice shelfs or children's cupboards. 12/12

Miniature Vintage Stoneware Beanpots
Four vintage miniature stoneware beanpots or cookie jars. Being sold as collectible display items only; I did not manufacture them so I don't know what they were made with; they might not be safe for food use. Aqua, Cornflower Blue, Brown, and Matte Lavender. All have unglazed yellow clay bottoms as a Zanesville item would have. These are shown in the ZSC book although a slight possibility they might be UHL or Rookwood since both companies made them too. These stand 3.25 tall x 3 wide. Some have pinpops, (lid of aqua jar); some clay gouges; and the brown one has a fleabite on rim edge, but no other chips or cracks. The lavendar one is extra special; I have never come across that color and I handle a ton of pottery. All have little ear/half moon style handles. These also might have been salesman's samples. labant3/09-ck

Miniature Stoneware Vessels
Five vintage miniature stoneware vessels. Space savers! Hard to find! First are 2 tiny crock/beanpot shape jars that were made by Zanesville Stoneware Co., and are shown in the book. These were made for the Duchess Cheese Co. in NY, and are so marked on their bottoms. They are the dark brown and the tan crock; 2.25 tall; has one tiny fleabite on upper rim; one has fleabite on bottom edge. Next is a 3 inch Paden City mini jug; next is a cool crock w/shield mark on bottom, (UHL?). It is 2.5 tall x 3 wide, likely had a lid and handle at one time. Last is a small USA beanpot, (missing lid). As is, as found. These are great display items on a small child's hutch or wood shelf if you don't have room to collect the larger stoneware! 1/09variest'scs

Vintage Lamb Miniatures
Two vintage miniature lamb figurines for one price. A viewer said these are Fredericksburg Art Pottery items. I was thinking Shawnee, UHL or Brush McCoy who also made a lot of miniatures. Very cute; some glaze misses and rubs, especially near dry bottom rims. They are 2.75 tall. 1/12brncs
