Vintage Matte White Pottery Vintage matte white vase and flower insert. c.1965. Two pottery items that I thought looked great together, especially if you have a shabby chic room and need something matte white to accent a table! The center piece item, (flower insert?), is a vintage Inarco, Cleveland, Ohio, w/factories in Japan, cherubs standing by a fountain pottery piece. This item is marked on the bottom 1965, Inarco, Cleveland, Ohio E-1191, and has a foil Japan label. It stands 6 high x 4.25 wide. It has one tiny fleabite on upper ruffled rim which you won't see unless it is right under you nose anyway. The next item is a beautiful bowl with raised flowers, leaves, dragonflies, and bees. It has incised mark on the bottom: LBK; this is another Japanese company. No chips or cracks and is 8 wide x 3.25 high. You get both for price listed!

The company, Hollinshead & Kirkham took over Wedgwood's Unicorn Pottery in 1890. Very nice old potty w/lid, wheat pattern. A couple of minor spots on bottom of interior, and a tiny rough spot on lid rim edge. The spots are within the glaze. No chips or cracks. The pot is 8.5 wide x 5 tall; with lid on it is 8.5 tall. hallchina1012

Hall China Slop Jar and Shaving Mug Antique Hall China slop jar and shaving mug. c: 1903. The shipping will be calculated after your order is placed because it is not boxed yet. The slop jar was missing the lid and bail handle but I found another antique bail handle that fits it and a lid. The lid has a similar frond like pattern, not identical but close; and is a good fit for this jar. The slop jar has one small firing line near bottom rim, (this is a separation line caused during firing; the edges are smooth, it is not a hairline) and some old gouges/small chips on rim which don't show or affect stance. You also get the antique Hall shaving mug. The mug shows some age wear but no chips or cracks. It is 3.5 tall x 3.5 wide. Both feel like ironstone. Both items feel like ironstone. Slop jars were usually placed under the washstand. Great items for a vintage powder room display!
Circa: 1903

Large Antique Open Chamber Pot Large antique open chamber pot. Raised vine pattern. It is 5.75 tall up to handle edge; or 5.5 tall to rim edge x 8.25 wide. This item would not have had a lid as there is no ledge in it for one. It has 3 stilt marks and a blue backstamp that is quite hard to make out. It looks like 2 lions atop a crown, and it reads what might be: Warranted, Semi Porcelain, but not certain. It feels like ironstone, (heavy duty). It has a spot of crazing on the bottom and a tiny line on the bottom rid edge that is not a hairline, just a spider line, see photo. It also has one tiny discolored line on the upper rim edge, see photo. It displays fine. Nelson McCoy Cookie Jar Vintage Nelson McCoy Pottery stoneware cookie jar. c.1939. 'Bean Pot' style cookie jar. Shown in Vol. 11 of the McCoy series books, p. 221, row 2. This cookie jar is being sold as a collectible display item and not for food use since it is old and I did not manufacture it so I do not know if it was made with anything harmful in it. These cookie jars only came in black and ivory, and I had the black one too, but sold it awhile ago. This one is in very good display condition; just missing a bit of the original cold paint, and that is it for visible flaws. As for unnoticeable flaws, the underside of the lid has a chip, but when lid is in place, it is not visible, so who cares! It also has one glaze pop on interior lip of jar, but this doesn't show when the lid is on. Personally, I would call this jar in 'good vintage' condition for a jar that is now over 70 years old! Guaranteed to be authentic, vintage McCoy pottery!
Circa: 1939

Haeger Vase and Cherub Flower Insert Vintage Haeger pedestal vase and a Japan cherub flower insert. Gorgeous matte white Haeger pedestal vase and a free matte white flower insert with purchase! Very shabby chic! No chips or cracks and measures 9 wide x 4 high. It has the blue ink Haeger mark on the bottom and a number which I can't quite make out. Since it has the inkstamp on it I am assuming this one is a vintage vase, since the new Haeger items only have paper labels and bar codes on them. Age est: 1930's-40's. The flower insert is awesome! It was made in Japan, has a black Japan foil sticker, but if it didn't have that, you would mistake this for a Weller it is so beautifully made. I think these two look great together as a table centerpiece but you could use them separately. The insert is a cherubic figure holding something. He stands 7 tall x 4.5 wide. If using together, just add a little bit of flower goop to secure him in place in the vase. Great items for shabby chic, country, or cottage style abodes.

Vintage Pig Planter Vintage pig planter. Fat little pig planter! Pretty sure it is an American Bisque item now, there are similar items shown in my book. This pig is 3.25 tall x 6 long. It has some crazing on interior bottom, and faint crazing on exterior. It has one tiny hairline on upper rim, but this really does not show unless you are looking down into the planter. He's a cutie!

McCoy Pottery Vintage Vase Large Very large McCoy Pottery matte white vase for sale. c.1943. I will add the shipping onto the invoice after the order is placed. If you want to know what shipping is prior to ordering, email me your zip code. Impressive 12 inch, thick, heavy-duty McCoy matte white two handled vase. Not marked, and the book states these vases were not marked. It has a tight crack in one of the handles and a small chip off exterior end of handle; it is kind of under the end of the overlaps on the handle so it is not very visible when vase is on display unless looking at it sideways. It displays fine. I have another one in store for sale separately. These sell for over $200 at antique shops here in MI in much worse condition. The vintage pottery that I use in my home is spray painted satin white to give them a facelift to fit into my more contemporary décor now. The items I list for sale have not been painted; I leave that up to you. As for 'devaluing' them by painting them; these items will never be worth a million dollars so giving them a new life is recycling and so much better than buying junk from high end stores. 3/04aucc-v;sldts9/10

McCoy Pottery Antique Curio Vintage McCoy Antique Curio pitcher and bowl. c:1960's. 2 in store; price is for one. Gorgeous! This beautiful matte finish pitcher and bowl is one piece. It stands 7 tall x 8 wide. One has no chips or cracks; the other one has a 1 inch hairline on the bowl rim edge. Dab it with some white porcelain repair or paint and you'll never see it again. It really is not very visible unless looking at it up under your nose so the price is not for this type of flaw. The hairline looks prominent in picture #5 because that is a magnified closeup. Perfect for a shabby chic or powder room! You could order both and put on each nightstand as a vase or you can make budoir lamps out of them by drilling a hole in the bottom. I also have this item in the gloss green and gloss brown. Perfect accessory for a small powder room!

McCoy Blossomtime Vase Pair Two matched vintage McCoy Pottery Blossomtime vases. Both for one price. I will add the shipping onto the invoice after the order is placed. If you want to know what shipping is prior to ordering, email me your zip code. One is fine, the other one has a visible hairline on frontside. Matte white Blossomtime urn vases. One vase has no chips or cracks; has some crazing, and 2 craze lines that are noticeable only if looking at it up close, but it still displays very well. Has raised McCoy mark on bottom. The craze lines might first appear as hairlines, but are not. One tiny craze line is on interior of top rim; other is to right of pink flower on frontside. Both vases stand 6.5 tall x 5.75 across top rim; and almost 4 inches wide at bottom rim. The other vase has a visible hairline which permeates both sides; it could be easily repaired since it is matte white; books at library tell how to repair pottery; and it is still a nice shelf piece.
