Reference Information:
--The 50's-60's Kitchen by Jan Lindenberger, 1999 & 2003, very good book but prices are very outdated, (undervalued).
--Spiffy Kitchen Collectibles by Brian Alexander, 2003, great book but prices are outdated.
--Fun Kitchen Collectibles by Jan Lindenberger, 1996 edit., very good book, but prices are very outdated.
--The Complete Book of Kitchen Collecting by Barbara Mauzy; and
--300 Years of Kitchen Collecting by L. Franklin.

Most of the items I sell are listed in the books, however, the book prices on them are very outdated.

Please do not ask me what your items are worth; I am a re-seller, not an appraiser. I value my items based on a cross between book value & market value, and other factors like how long it took me to find the item; the condition of the item; my overhead expenses like rent, commission, gas, mileage, office supplies, wear & tear on my vehicle, time spent looking, etc.

Antique Seed Box Antique wooden seed box. Has tongue and groove corners. Inside seed pictures is intact and reads: Mandeville & King Co. Superior Flower Seeds, Rochester, N.Y. You can see where the original paper slots would have fit on the bottom of box but are no longer there. The box itself is showing a lot of age; has some splits in the wood, but makes a great primitive display item. It is 15.5 wide; x 3 deep x 12 tall not including handle. It would also make a cool artist paint brush box. Just saw one of these sell at a live auction for $185! Nice display item for a potting shed or to store seedpacks, postcards, candles, etc.! cstroyest9.07

Vintage Display Case Vintage display case. Very old display case that hangs on a wall. Has two eyeholes drilled through the wood for hanging. The interior wood is douglas fir, a wood commonly used around the turn-of-the-century. The screw in the finial/knob has been replaced. This case was likely used to post information signs since it is not deep enough to hold anything else. It is 16 wide x 12 tall. Good condition for its age. I put a picture in there just as an example. Purchased right off the barn door! A very unique antique!

Antique Munising Butter Mold Antique Munising Michigan butter mold and vintage linen towel. Very old wood mold that has the original label on the front that reads: Munising, Mich. and something else, note the old State abbreviation on it. You need a magnifier to make out the words. This mold has dove tailed edges, and a flat press; no carved design on it. Good condition for its age, and stands 3.5 tall x a bit over 5 wide x 3.25 deep. It has one little hole on the backside that looks like someone drilled it in order to maybe hang it up or something. You also get the linen kitchen towel that doesn't appear to have been used. It reads: Peddlers General Store, Marysville, Ohio, Ohio's largest country store. It features many types of antiques on it. Cool primitives for your country kitchen! 7/13

Wood Nut Firkin Vintage Vintage nut firkin. Wooden firken with the word: 'Nuts' on front with a Chef holding a tray. Cool old firkin that is in 'good vintage' condition. It stands 8 inches tall. It has an old used nut cracker with it, not sure if you want it or I can just toss that out and you can put a newer one in it instead. It looks shiny because I just put some wood oil on the exterior of it to clean and preserve it. That will dry and fade away over time. Age est: 1950's. Neato if you collect vintage firkins! 9/13estcs

Primitive Wood Utility Box Primitive wood utility box. Antique box with dove-tailed corners as well as mortice & tennant construction on the bottom. It has original old red brick barn colored paint which is probably milk paint. I checked it under a black light and nothing fluoresces except a couple tiny spots on the handle area which means some paint probably dripped on it over time. The rest is original old paint. This item is 6 inches tall x 12.25 long x 9.25 wide. You can display other items you collect in it. The 4 interior square portions are 5.25 x 4 inches. An awesome primitive for your country home display! I use these to display my vintage hamburger presses and other things! 9/13ut

Wooden Lazy Susan Wooden lazy susan. The other items in photo are sold separately. Nice maple hardwood lazy susan. Not vintage, but nice. I painted it a color called La Fonda Copper by Valspar, satin finish. This is a popular retro 1970's color showing up on painted wood furniture at antique shows. The lazy susan is in good condition. I have it shown with 2 other items painted in this color; those other 2 items have had their edges sanded down a bit for a distressed shabby/rustic look. You can leave this as is, or spray it another color, or distress it. I use my own lazy susan all the time for different seasonal displays on my kitchen table. This item is 14.5 wide x 2 inches tall. 10/13scsr

A very unusual octogon shaped wood masher; it has a tight split, but still very unique. A large wood antique mallet; a smaller size berry masher, and a cabbage slicer. All can be displayed in the utility box, or you can put other things in the box like seed packets, kitchen utensils, tools, garden implements, candles, hamburger presses, etc. These boxes alone sell for over $150 each in NY at the large antique shows! 12/14vs
