Antique Molds Antique molds. Two for one price, scroll through to see both molds. The larger mold is 4.5 tall x almost 7 long x 5.25 wide. Incised marks on bottom: #6 and #33. This mold has some glaze skips on the top rim and a one inch hairline on top rim. The smaller mold, photos 5-8, is 3 tall x almost 6 long x 4.25 wide. It has some dark dots on the interior bottom and one hairline in the same place. Both are heavy duty and I am confident they are Ironstone. 10/22scs

Click for more detail...

antiquespooner1015

Antique Glass Spoon Holder Antique glass spoon or celery holder. It is 6 inches tall so it could be either one. It glows a strong yellow under a black light which means it was likely made before 1916. It has a couple of tiny glass flaws that are within the glass; an itsy bitsy chigger bite on the bottom rim, and a bubble in the glass, but those are hard to spot. The glass is nice and clear, not cloudy. The only evidence of age other than the yellow glow under a black light is the aged bottom rim. A lovely piece to use or just display! 10/15

Rare antique Biplane Ice Cream Mold Rare antique pewter biplane ice cream mold. Awesome antique! This one is the heaviest of the 5 recently listed. It is quite detailed on interior, (see pics #3, 4, 5, 6), and I finally think I figured out that it is a biplane with flowers on the ground underneath it! No maker's marks, but the mold line is very straight and tight; two hinges on each end. It is 6.5 long x 2.75 tall x 2.5 wide. This might be a very rare mold. Some are selling for up to $6,000 now according to Kovel's. Item is being sold as a collectible display item for collectors and it is not to be used for food use these days. Antique Ice Cream Molds Antique ice cream molds. Three for one price = only $40/each. First is the flower mold. Numbered: 554 and hinged construction. Quite detailed on outside and interior. Nice condition. It is 3 inches wide x about 3.5 tall. Next are 2 identical molds. Both have numbers and letters but I cannot make out the name. I can make out an E Co. N.Y. on one of theme so they are likely Eppelsheimer molds. Also numbered: 603 1/2, other is 603 1/2 N.Y They are very dark with age; probably made out of pewter and being sold for display collectible display only. By purchasing them, you assume all and all risk if you decide to actually use it for anything other than display purposes. 1/15

Antique Yellow Ware Mold Neat antique yellow ware wheat stalk bundle mold. Being sold as a collectible display item, not for food use as it is antique and is probably not up to today's standards for safe food or liquid usage or storage. A very hard to find piece. The bowl in the photo is not being sold with this mold. This one is for the serious yellow ware collector! Nice crisp design; good condition; no cracks; one teensy fleaspeck or glaze pop on top rim edge; and some fine crazing on it. It also has an irregular discolored band circling exterior of mold, (this is very common on yellow ware; looks like a wet spot, but isn't). This mold is 4 tall x 7.5 long x almost 6 wide. It is shown in book 1, by L. McAllister. It looks better than the pictures are showing it; too much sun out when I shot the pics. brcs

Vintage Mello Yellow Kitchenware Cool assortment of vintage yellow kitchen items. First is the the wood basket, (not vintage). Next is a vintage Hazel Atlas nut chopper in good usable vintage condition. Next is a nice Foley food chopper, very little wear on it. Next is an Edland Top-Off jar opener, (works good, has a bit of age/wear on metal surface). Next is a Pat Pending pottery teaspoon holder with teaspoon set. Next is a cute pottery spoonrest. Next are 2 cute potholders. Next is a vintage but like new kitchen linen towel. And last is a neat olive oil tin which I think is vintage, but I have seen newer ones. This one is patented: Pat. Des. 291.645 and the new ones I have seen do not have a patent number on them. The Foley food chopper sells for $36 by itself; the jar opener $28.50, so if you add up all the rest, this is a great deal. Wrap it in cellophane and give as a unique housewarming gift for the person who loves vintage kitchenware! 2/13vs
