Art Deco Canco Tin Fabulous Art Deco Canco tin. This might be a cigar humidor or chocolate tin, not sure, the lid is thick. Good 'vintage' condition; no dents; just one tiny tip of the corner edge of lid is bent on this tin. Minor age/wear as expected. For being around 99 years old, I think it is quite nice. It is 9.25 long x 5.75 deep x 3 tall. Very cool tin for your collection! 3/12brcs;ts3/19x1
Circa: 1920's

Oriental Vintage Box Vintage oriental box. OUTSTANDING! Gorgeous, VERY HEAVY, likely bronze box with an incised floral motif, and a lined wood interior. It has an incised 'Made in China' mark on the bottom. It had a label on the bottom when I bought it that said: circa 1910, but it is now missing. I do believe it does date to that age based on the weight of this box and the wood interior, which you do not find on the newer imported brass items from China. A gorgeous box to use or display. This is likely an antique tobacco humidor; a similar one is shown in the book on Tobacianna. This would make a great gift for someone who collects old boxes; or just to use a furniture accessory item! 6.25 long x almost 3 inches tall x 4.25 deep
Circa: 1910

German Repousse Brass Box Vintage German repousse brass box. Age estimate: pre WW1. Wood lined, thus it is likely a tobacco/snuff box. Incised mark on bottom: Germany. 'Good vintage' condition; and likely dates to the early 20th C, and perhaps earlier. Exterior has raised/embossed relief designs all around; horses, trees, people, castle, hawk, etc. It is 2.25 tall, 4.75 long x 4 wide. A wonderful box to display or use!

silv12031

Antique Silver Plate Box Antique silver plate box. Hallmarked & numbered. c.late 19th, early 20th. It is either silver on copper, or silverplate, not sure. It is very detailed and has no dings. The interior is lined with wood, so this was likely a snuff or cigarette box, or tobacco humidor but you can use it for whatever you like! A bit of the wood is missing on interior side, and there is a tiny spot of the metal missing on side corner of lid; neither of those small flaws are visible from front display side. The box is 5 wide x 2 high. It has a raised number 7 on underside of lid lip; and 5 hallmarks on bottom. I can only make out last two; one is an amperand symbol and one is a serpeant. A friend who is an Anthropology professor that speaks German, said she believes the hallmarks are German gothic script.

mccoy80505b

Brush McCoy Willow Ware Cuspidor Antique Brush-McCoy Willow Ware cuspidor. c:1916. Shown in the 1978 book by S. Huxford; the updated value in 1996 was $115-175.00, see pg. 60-61. For a clearer image of the pattern on this cuspidor see the book by M. Sanford, pg. 29, top right; shows a chamber pot with the same design on it; and the cuspidor is shown on pg. 31, top right. It is hard to see the design on the dark brown Willow Ware items, and easier to see on the blue and white Willow Ware. Very heavy and is 5.25 tall x 7.5 wide at top rim. It has one chip off bottom dry rim; barely visible when cuspidor is upright. Also has one clay gouge in body of cuspidor, (that is glazed over). It can be displayed with other stoneware; on a wetbar; or used as a planter for a fern or orchid! A great piece for your BM Pottery or antique stoneware collection!

Vintage Porcelain Pipe HP Awesome vintage porcelain pipe. Porcelain bowl with a bone? bit, and wood stem. This is likely German. The porcelain bowl appears to be hand painted and features 2 horses, 2 colonial dressed gents, and one farmer in a landscape setting. The bowl has a very tight hairline that you need a magnifier to see. Otherwise, it is in good overall vintage display condition. The lid on the bowl appears to be silver plate with a brass finish, the brass finish is wearing off. The interior of bowl is clean, so this pipe was not used. In the tobacciana books, just the porcelain bowls sell for over $775!. The pipe is 13 inches long. A unique antique pipe for any tobacciana collection!

Pipe Stand and Cigar Jar Vintage Vintage cigar jar pipe stand. Pipes not included. You can use the beautiful jar for pipe tobacco or cigars or on a vanity table for cotton balls, etc.. The jar is very thick glass, looks and sparkles like crystal. It has 3 small chigger bites on interior of glass, see photo; it is still a gorgeous jar though. The jar stands 5.5 tall x 4.5 wide. The pipe stand that the jar fits into holds 6 pipes and is 10.75 long x 4.75 tall. It has a tight split in the wood on one side and some age/wear, but overall is good display condition. The split does not affect its function. The pipes shown in the photos are being sold separately. Vintage Everfresh Humidor Vintage Everfresh humidor. A very manly looking glass humidor with an very nice wood lid. It features a hunting scent with a pheasant. On the inside of the lid there is a slot for a glass vial to hold water to humidify your pipe tobacco, cigars or cigarette tobacco. A little brass clamp holds the vial in place. On the inside of this vial is a rolled paper with directions and which calls this the 'Everfresh Humidifier', Decatur Industries, Decatur, Indiana. The paper looks fairly old. The humidor measures 5 7/8 high x 6.5 wide, and is in very good condition. The only thing missing from this item is the little glass cap that fits onto the glass vial, it is missing, but if you actually wanted to put water in here you could put a tight fitting cork in it. I really do not think this detracts at all since this is on the inside of the lid and most people just display these things. It would make a wonderful gift the your favorite guy! Age est: 1950's-60's.
