Napcoware Head Vase Vintage Lovely vintage Napcoware head vase. From front display side she is near perfect. She stands 6 inches tall. Interior has some old mineral/rust residue apparently from once having a live plant in her, (these vases were commonly used for African Violet plants). She is clearly marked: Napcoware C 6428 and there is some crazing on the bottom. She also has a small faded spot on the side portion of upper head, see pic #5. This is not visible from the front. This is probably where the water inside the plant caused some fading on the brown hair glaze. That spot is also crazed but it is not a chip, crack or a repair. She still has the original pearl earrings also. A beautiful vase for your collection. 10/10#3393br

Napcoware Vintage Lady Headvase Vintage Napcoware headvase planter. She is 6.5 tall. Displays well, but has flaws which is why the price is low. Flaws: pearl earings are glued in and part of chain is missing on one; they should be hanging down. She has a hairline on top back rim. She has a smudgy spot on her lips. She has what appears to be some touchups, (green paint) around the top rim, and a small chip on her hat rim which is hard to spot unless you lay her down. Marked on bottom: C 7474. She is shown on pg. 48 of M. Zavada's book in the blue color. I see these sell for over $100 at auctions in far worse condition. She is fine for display in a china cabinet, or to use for a trailing ivy plant in a ladies room! 2/13estcs

Artmark Baby Head Vase Vintage Artmark hand painted baby head vase. Beautiful baby girl head vase with blue bonnet. She is 5 tall and has no chips or cracks. Just one teensy white spot on her cheek, but it is smooth, so she likely just came like that. The bottom has a foil sticker: Artmark Originals, Hand Painted, Japan. Age estimate: 1950's, (most head vases were made in Japan around the 1950's). A real cutie for your collection! ggau3.06#1373

Napco Head Vase Wallpocket Exceptional vintage Napco lady head vase wallpocket. Lovely raven haired lady headvase and wallpocket! She has an eyehole in the back of the vase for hanging on a wall and is almost 6 high. No chips or cracks and has a dye impressed number: S154; same number as K. Cole's book shows; she is however, missing the Napco paper label, pg.127). She has some faint, fine crazing, mainly on the backside of vase, and a scratch on back of vase, but that's it! A great vase for your collection! Hard to find the brunettes, most of the ones pictured in the books are blondes! Guaranteed to be a vintage original collectible head vase!

Three Vintage Listed Head Vases Three vintage lady head vases. All 3 for one price, all have some age/wear flaws. The large vase is also a wallpocket. Large vase is a blonde beauty with pink head scarf. She has two small flaws as you may see in the pics; one is that one of the petals on the flower of her hat is chipped off; other is on her left eyelash, it looks like a little bit of the end is missing. She is shown in the books, and is marked with a green JAPAN inkstamp and the name JUNE in red inkstamp. She has no crazing on her except on the bottom where the Japan mark is, and she is 4.5 wide x 5.5 high. Next is a little girl headvase with incised N in a circle mark on bottom and a N in circle blue mark; also shown in the books. She is 4.75 tall; and is missing her parasol, and fingers holding the tube are chipped off. Last is a mini-headvase, 3.25 tall, has pearl necklace, missing one of her pearl earrings, and has some paint loss on her chin. Has red Japan mark, and original Woolworth's paper label on bottom. You're not going to notice the flaws when they are sitting in your curio cabinent anyway!

American Bisque Head Vase Vintage American Bisque glamor girl head vase. She has incised USA mark on bottom and 24k gold. She is shown on pg. 41 of the book on Am. Bisque by M.J. Giacomini, 1994 edit. She is quite heavy and solid, has no chips or cracks; the gold is just a bit worn near her nose, one cheek, and near bottom. Looks like Betty Grable doesn't she? Hard to find the gold vase; the cold painted ones are more common.

Hull Pottery Child Head Vase Vintage Hull Pottery child head vase. Incised mark: USA 62 which corresponds to the book. This item is shown in the book with a lot more cold paint on it, see photo #6. This vase is missing most of its original paint but you can redo it if you are crafty. Just use the same coloring as the book. This is a heavy duty vase; I thought it was American Bisque pottery at first, but it is Hull. It stands 6.5 tall x 6 wide; no visible chips or cracks; one surface flake off the bottom rim which does not show or affect stance. There is some dirt on the interior bottom which I leave to you to clean. 11/16
