Hammersley Bone China Teacup
Hammersley bone china teacup. c: 1939+. Very elegant teacup with flowers and scrolls; oriental looking pattern. No chips or cracks; there one teensy stray orangy gold mark on the interior of cup. The mark is under the glaze and likely a drip from when they painted the rim which is the same orangy gold color. There is also one pindot on the handle that looks like a hot ash mark, it is very faint and also under the glaze. It has the green backstamp, #1629 in red ink with an initial?, see photos. The cup is 4 wide 2.5 tall; the saucer is 5.5 wide. A lovely teacup to use, display or gift as a gift! 2/17es
