Cool Jars and Milk Bottle Carrier Vintage milk bottle carrier with 8 cool vintage jars! Very cool! Vintage jars are the hottest selling collectible at shows; selling from $12-35 each! They are using them for everything including as lights, candles, dispensers. Fill with marbles, shells, seeds, beads, thimbles, clothespins, bath salts, pebbles, etc. So many uses or just display as is! First is the vintage dairy carrier; it has rust on it, you can spray paint it to match your kitchen, or leave it rustic. These alone sell for $45 and up at shows. The first jar is a large Hazel Atlas jar with a red lid that reads: Royal Snack, Herring Tidbits, Haradel Corp. Neat old jar. Next is a Crown Canada canning jar with zinc and glass lid. Next is a cool French's Mustard jar with Hazel Atlas logo on bottom. Next is a jar with bail handle, and the HA logo on bottom. Next is a faint blue jar with red lid that reads: Red Pelican Pure Horseradish, USA. And, it says Duraglas on bottom with an Owens Illinois logo? on bottom. It has some crackles in the bottom of jar so it is just for display. Next is a Wheaton USA jar with a bail handle. Next is a tiny Hazel Atlas jar with a green lid, it is only 2.75 tall. Last is a Ferrara Candy Mint Peas jar with bail handle, Made in USA, not sure of the age on this jar. I do know that Wheaton and Hazel Atlas are no longer in business. HA went out in 1964. There is also a cute vintage linen Dutch Country kitchen towel that doesn't look like it was ever used. Just a nifty assortment of vintage jars for your collection. Or, use this as your own storage unit for screws, bolts, nails, tacks, etc. I have to keep my tools away from my hub so this is a convenient and attractive way to keep items in a place he wouldn't think of! 8/13

Vintage Shedd's Peanut Butter Tin and Jar Vintage Shedd's peanut butter tin. Cool old tin with handle. It once held 5 lbs. of peanut butter. It has animals and elves circling the tin. The tin is 6.5 tall x 5.75 wide. Good display condition; lid is very hard to get on and off which is likely why the lid is somewhat dented. The cool Shedd's peanut butter jar is a refrigerator jar with 2 elf like creatures on the lid. It is 4 tall x 3.25 wide; good vintage condition. Neat items for your tin, glass, advertising, or peanut butter collection! Price is firm now. 12/14br

Antique Kings Crown Sugar Antique Adams & Co. Kings Crown covered sugar jar. c:1890's. The jar displays fine, but has a lot of wear on the jar around the exterior edges of circular areas including scuffing, roughness, scratching and a nibble on the top rim. The lid has old chippies/glass bruises on the finial and the rim edge; the areas that are chipped are smooth, so these are very old flaws. You could just use the base as a spooner, celery, holder, or vase or or leave as is and use as a sugar or candy jar. It shows up yellow under UV/black light. The jar without the lid on is almost 4.25 tall x almost 4 inches wide. barkau#1688-3/07

Vintage Seltzer Bottle Deep aqua blue vintage seltzer bottle. New York Seltzer Water Co., Detroit, Mich. Note the old State abbreviation. Bottom has the etched 'bottle made in Czechoslovakia'. It is 11.25 tall and in good vintage condition. Just a bit of water in bottom of bottle; I assume it works although I do not know how these work. Most people just display them on their wetbars. Hazel Atlas Glasses Vintage Six vintage pink and white glasses with carrier. All the glasses have the same design and are the same size. They have pictures of coffeepots, pestle, oil lamp, coffeegrinder, etc. Only one glass has the HA logo on bottom, (Hazel Atlas). The one with the HA logo and one other glasses do not have mold lines or rim lip lines like the other 4 do. I think the 4 with mold lines and lid lips were once jelly glasses and the other 2 are regular drinking glasses. See pic #7 for up close of top rims. Sometimes grocery stores gave out the jelly glasses as promos. The jelly? glasses have some stretch lines and have numbers on the bottoms. The designs are good on all of them. They stand 5.75 tall x 3 wide. Cute glasses and I believe there is a matching lemonade pitcher if you can find it. I do think they were all made by Hazel Atlas, but for different purposes. If you don't want the carrier, let me know and I will adjust the price and weight. 2/13

Federal Glasse Set w/Carrier Vintage Federal Glass set with vintage glass carrier included. There are 8 glasses that fit in this carrier. These are nice frosted glasses with snowflake pattern. Federal Glass Co. is no longer in business. I believe these date to the 1950's-60's. They stand almost 5 inches tall x 2.75 wide at the top. These older glass carriers are very useful for storage and transporting your glassware. Great for mixed drinks at parties, etc. I also have another set of 6 glasses with a matching 6-glass carrier for sale separately if you are interested, then you'd have 14 glasses altogether. Libbey Glass Set w/Carrier Retro Libby glassware and carrier. The vintage metal carrier was gold and was spray painted black to go with these glasses. The glasses have a letter L on bottom and are in good condition. They stand 4.75 tall. They have red rims and feature gentlement lifting their glasses. Like an old English pub scene. Not sure of the age but I'd guess 1940's-50's. There are 8 glasses. The metal carrier can be left as is or resprayed another color. This set is perfect to display on a Hooser cabinet or wetbar, and the carrier is convenient for transporting and storage. The shipping amount is an estimate; it may be more or less depending on your zip code so please request a more accurate quote before ordering. It weighs 7 lbs. as is; when packaged in a box with stuffing it will weigh a bit more. Price is firm now. scs4/13

vjars9013

Vintage Jars w/Basket Vintage jars with metal basket. The basket is not vintage but cute! First is a large Atlas Strong Shoulder Mason jar with zinc lid. It is 7 inches tall, #6 or #9 on bottom. Next is a Wheaton USA jar with zinc wire and lid with round holes. Wheaton Glass Co. is no longer in business. This jar was likely for parmesan cheese; it is 5.5 tall. Next is a blue Ball mason jar with zinc lid, no. 10 on bottom. Next is a tall Canadian jar with glass lid and zinc wire. It is 8 inches tall. Last are 2 small jars; the bottoms have a beaded band but not like the brand new jars. They were found at an estate sale full of buttons which have been removed. You can use most of these jars with the newer dispenser lids or serrated lids; those type of lids are not being sold with this assortment, but they are sold at craft shows. You can use these jars in the basket just as a display item; or fill the jars with various things like flowers, marbles, pebbles, pot pouri, thimbles, spools, hardware items, (bolts, tacks, nails, screws) and use this as your own tool caddy! You could also spray paint the basket another color to match your decor! 9/13

squaredance9013

Retro Square Dancing Glass Set Retro vintage square dancing glasses with shabby chic metal carrier. Six tall glasses with enameled? design. The glasses feature a man & woman dancing and reads: 'Square Dance, Swing Yer Ma'. These glasses are in good condition except one glass has some whitish residue on the bottom interior which doesn't come out. I think it is a mineral deposit or from soda. You can't see it unless looking down into the glass and it is not bad anyway. The glasses are 5.75 tall x 2.5 wide. Very colorful and fun. The metal carrier was brown; I shabby chic'd it. The carrier came from an estate sale and it is not vintage, but very cute for vintage glasses or the 1/2 pint milk bottles. The glasses have no maker's marks on them so I do not know which company made them but I'd guess they are from the 1950's or earlier. Nothing wrong with them except the mineral deposit mentioned in one of them. 9/13
