Friendship Pottery Cookie Jar
Very nice Friendship Pottery cookie jar. c:1973-1996, Roseville, Ohio. FP was only in business in the USA for a short 23 years but their products are the best and very collectible, as well as useful. Friendship Pottery products are lead free, oven-proof, microwave and dishwasher safe. Most of their designs are navy blue and cream; either with flowers, blue horizontal lines or spongeware design and can be used together. This cookie jar is 8 inches tall with lid on x 6.25 wide. No chips or cracks; it doesn't look like it was ever used for cookies. The lid fits very snugly to keep the cookies or biscotti fresh. You can't go wrong with Friendship Pottery quality. 3/13

These are dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. The work 'milk' is in blue. This fairly contemporary USA company made some of the best usable pottery products but unfortunately they are no longer in business. The rack holds 2 bottles and has a wood bail handle.
