Victorian Antique Cruet Set Gorgeous antique castor set. pre 1916. These show up as yellow glow under a UV/black light. Well hallmarked on the mustard jar and other shaker. The hallmarks look like EP inside a crown that is inside a larger crown. There is an 'S' and 3 other hallmarks. The stand is 10.25 tall; and has a lion head on the handle. Bottom has incised W on it. The bottles all match; no visible chips or cracks. One cruet has a tiny fleabite on bottom of jar. These are either cut glass or crystal, not pressed. The stand has some tarnish on the interior of it which really doesn't show when bottles are in it. This set is in about the best antique condition I have come across. Perfect to use or just display! 1/11antmc

Decorated Antique Tole Ware Spice Set Unique antique decorated tin spice set. c.late 1800's. Tole ware tin spice box with 6 spice containers. The exterior of this box has red and green paint on the top; even though outer box is in aged condition, (scratched up), the interior spice tins look pretty darn good for their age! The spice names are legible, and display rather well with the lid open. The names on the tins are: Mace, Nutmeg, Ginger, Cloves, Cinnamon, and Allspice. The box is 4.5 tall x 9 wide x 6 deep. The price is way less than what I paid for it so my loss is your gain! nyrecpt8.04

Birch Spice Containers Rare Rare assortment of antique birch with tin spice containers. c:1858. All have circular incised mark: Patent Packaging Corp. Newark, New Jersey, Pat. Aug. 31, 1858. Two larger containers, (flour & sugar?) and 6 smaller spice containers. Four fit into the large container; and other two fit into other container. The largest is 7.5 wide x 4.5 tall; next is 6.5 wide x 4 tall; smaller ones are 3.25 wide x a bit over 3.25 tall. The pepper container is a bit larger than the other 4 small containers. Cloves, Pepper, Allspice, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Mustard. These should only be used for display due to their age and fragility. Good display condition; just the lid on larger container has shrunk a bit from age, and is a bit loose. You can scour the net and you probably won't find any of these anywhere else. Beautiful items for a country kitchen! These are shown in some of the books on antiques and the price is much less than what I paid for them so my loss is your gain! 3/8-cc-V-dmau

There is a cup mark on the top of he cabinet; just use some old English scratch cover on it to spruce it up, or paint it! Distressed white would be cool. spice70309a

Painted Wood Spice Set Vintage wood spice cabinet and 12 glass spice jars. The rack looks like a 1960's-70's rack; it was a dark ugly faded wood, so I painted it a buttscotch color to match one of the veggies in the picture on it. Seven of the jars have old Himark spice labels on them. Seems to be a N.Y. company with a factory in Japan. The jars are in good condition; just two jars have some spice residue in them. The picture on this rack is similar to some of the McCoy dinnerware from that period. This rack is freestanding or can be hung and is 16 tall x 11.25 wide. You can re-spray paint it another color if you want. 6/09dixcs+11/10scsr+hp

Or, if you want regular glass spice jars, I can add those instead, but I think it will only hold 12 of those, not 14. If you want a more accurate ship quote, e-mail me your zip code prior to ordering. 3/12iestcs

Vintage Spice Cabinet Attractive vintage wood spice cabinet. Age estimate: 1930-40's. The finish on it looks like Walnut and it has porcelain knobs. It stands 15.25 tall x 8 wide x 4 deep. Six drawers. Minor wear; the top ledge has some darker spotting, not sure what that is from but if you put shakers or something else on there you won't see it anyway, see pic #6. Use Old English scratch cover and some wood oil to keep it looking nice. Or, paint it white or another color! It has an eyehole for hanging or it can stand on its own. These can be used in craft rooms for beads, notions, etc. Or, in powder rooms for pins, etc. They sell similar, but new ones in country style magazines for $175 and up; why not get an authentic vintage one for less? 1/14

Three Mountaineers Spice Rack & Jars Vintage Three Mountaineers spice cabinet. c: 1965. Original Three Mtn. paper tag and the original, complete set of 16 large Three Mtn. jars. The jars have ribs and the octagon shaped lids and are 4.75 tall. The jars were full of spices which I removed and did a quick clean. I do have newer unused different labels too if you want to replace the original labels with cleaner ones. The rack is freestanding or can be hung on a wall. The rack has very little age/wear showing on the exterior. It is in about the best condition you could expect for a rack that is now over 52 years old! Just one little gouge in the rim of cabinet; dot it with Old English light wood scratch cover. The interior door paper specifying the spices and uses is a bit discolored in some spots, but is not bad at all. The cabinet is 12.25 tall x 16.25 long x 3.25 deep. These sell out fast and are a very popular item. The show 'Friends' had a 3 mtn. cabinet on the wall above the fridge; remember Monica was a chef in that show. It is a very nice vintage cabinet to display or use! I have a Three Mountain rack on my hutch in the kitchen that it is quite aged and worn but I still love it! These racks were sold in high end department stores like Macys & J.L. Hudsons, back in the day. If you want a more accurate ship quote, e-mail me your zip code prior to ordering; it could be less if you live near my ship zone. 5/15

Recycled Wood Cabinet and Jars Recycled vintage wooden cabinet and spice jars. Not sure if this was for spices originally, but I added 8 vintage spice jars and repainted the ugly wood cabinet a flat black. You can sand the edges down a bit for a more rustic look, or add a light spray of Rustoleum's flat chestnut for the contemporary expresso look, leave as is, or paint another color. The flat colors work best; shiny colors tend to cause paint drips. This cabinet has a top shelf with 4 round holes but not sure what went in those holes. You can hang it on a wall via the 2 drilled holes in the back of it, or it is free-standing. It stands 14 tall not counting the handle x 10.5 wide x 4 deep. It is 16 inches tall if counting the handle. And, it has a bottom drawer. You could remove the spice jars and use for something else if you wanted to. If you want a more accurate ship quote, e-mail me your zip code prior to ordering. 3/16

Vintage Gailstyn Spice Jars Vintage Gailstyn spice jars with refurbished rack. The Gailstyn jars were removed from a very old, dingy spice rack that I tossed out. These jars were made in N.Y., age est: 1950's or earlier. They are 3.5 tall. There are 12 jars. All have a chef with spice names on them and all are in good condition except the Chef's face is worn off on one of the jars and a bit of the lettering on the Italian Seasoning jar is worn off. These jars could use a finer cleaning they are somewhat dusty, just don't put them in a dishwasher, hand wash only! The old wood rack was sprayed flat black; you can respray any color you want. It is freestanding or can be hung and is 11.5 tall x 10.5 wide. 2/20

Antique Spice Cabinet Antique wooden spice cabinet. 15.5 tall x 9.75 wide x 4.5 deep. This very primitive cabinet is usable, but does have age/wear flaws. There is reddish stuff that appears to have been used to fill cracks in the wood. It also has a long split in the top. I like the way it looks, the patina of age, but if you don't like primitive items, it is not for you. The drawers are all intact. These cabinets are shown in country magazines; people use them on old Hoosier cabinets in the kitchen and in sewing/crafts rooms. The wood appears to be oak and the wood seems to have warped a bit over time. Photo #7 is the bottom of the drawer; it is all wood, not plywood or cardboard. The price is reduced for the flaws. 7/23scs

Antique Tole Painted Assortment Three antique tole painted graniteware and tin assortment. All purchased at different places and times, but all are similarly painted so I put them together. First is the tea kettle with stamped date: 'Aug. 1929' on handle. It has some tiny holes on lid. Great display items, but none of these items should be used for food/liquid, (due to old tin, graniteware, rust inside spice jars). Next is an antique milk can; 9 inches; heavy can with wood bail handle and painted exterior. It has a fruit motif, and you can see the white enamel on the interior of can. Some paint loss as expected for its age. Last is the cute tin spice set; 6 spice, some are rusted on the inside, but the exteriors are fine. 7/09esa#+variestx2

Vintage Chef Cheese Sifter Vintage Chef cheese sifter. This item is pottery, not ceramic. Has cork stopper; I replaced the stopper from the other cork stopper because it was falling apart. I think this is American Bisque even though it is not shown in my book. Am. Bisque made a lot of chef items, including cookie jars and condiment jars. If it were a Japan item it would likely be ceramic, not pottery. It stands 7.75 tall. No cracks; a couple of tiny fleabites along backside bottom rim; see pic #6; those are magnified closeups of the fleabites; in reality they are not too visible. Very colorful and cute item for your retro kitchen collection. 3/14s

Vintage Griffith's Spice Jars Vintage milk glass spice jars. The Griffith Laboratories. These are 4.25 tall. There are 8 jars, plus you get 2 extra jars for free. The glass on the jars is fine; the lids are aged. You can replace the lids with more modern plastic lids from grocery store spice jars, see photos 5-8 shows the green and black lids. Some of the McCormick spice jar lids will fit. The labels are grungy; you can purchase new labels at craft stores. I did not clean the jars because I did not want the labels to dissolve so the jars need to be cleaned. The red metal rack is an estate sale item, not vintage. It can be hung and is 13.5 tall x 8 wide. For some reason the photos make this rack look narrower at the bottom, but it's not. 11/13vs
