Large Mason's Antique Ironstone Platter Large Mason's patent ironstone transferware platter. c: 1815+. Being sold as collectible display item and not for food use since I did not make it, nor do I know if it has anything harmful in it. Mason's was absorbed by the Wedgwood group; newer pieces have Ltd on them. Watteau pattern. Brown Transferware. Brown backstamp Mason's over crown then banner: Patent Ironstone China, then Watteau England, then 'Guaranteed Permanent Acid Resisting Colour' and #5. No chips or cracks; all over faint crazing. It is 14.25 wide. It is shown next to a dinner plate in one picture just to show you how large it is. A great platter to display! If you decide to use it, use a heavy paper doily on it first. 6/12dixcsr

Patent 61298, E in green, TL 303 in red; which is the pattern number, and another mark that I cannot make out. It also has two incised words that I cannot make out. All three bowls are in good condition, and are 8.5 wide.

Vintage Ball Pitcher Blue Tulip Vintage ball pitcher. Blue Tulip pattern by Cronin China Co. or Cameron Clay Products. Both companies made this pattern. And, the pattern also matches the DRU Holland cast iron cookware from the 1950's. This pitcher is being sold as a collectible item, not for food use since I did not manufacture it and I don't know if it has anything harmful in it. It has a raised USA mark on the bottom. There is an entire dinnerware line of this also. No chips or cracks; but it does have lot of crazing and spidering. It is 8 tall. I also have the matching teapot for sale separately. Rare Antique Soup Tureen Rare antique ironstone soup tureen.. Made by J.W. Pankhurst, Hanley, England. This company was only in business from c:1852-1883. Good antique condition; no chips or cracks. A couple of black pepper teensy dots, (hot ash marks when fired?) see photos; and 3 stilt marks on the interior bottom. This company was preceded by William Ridgway and was taken over by Johnson Bros. The bottom reads: 'Stone China' which is the same as Ironstone according to my research. This large tureen is about 10.5 tall x 13 wide from handle end to other handle; the bowl is 9.25 wide. Very nice and can go in a Victorian or a more contemporary dining room since it is white! Gold. No chips or cracks and is 13.75 long x 10.25 wide and is much prettier than the pictures are showing it. Made by the Limoges China Co, Sebring, Ohio, in business from 1900-1955. The backstamp is shown in Kovels book of marks. Barely any wear on this platter. The pattern might be: American Rose. You can serve your guests snacks or h'orderves at your next party! Or, put your favorite treat on it, wrap in cellophane, add a bow, and it's a fabulous hostess or housewaming gift! The replacement value is $69.95.

It has a brown backstamp: 'Rural England', which is the pattern name, then, W. R. Midwinter Ltd. England. The backstamp dates it to 1932-1987. The pattern is discontinued. This platter has 2 holes on back rim for hanging or it can be used as a platter. It is 12.25 wide and has no chips or cracks. Some faint crazing on the backside. The front is transferware. Very attractive plate that would be exceptional in a Victorian or traditional style room. Or, put a paper doily on it and your favorite treat and give it as a unique hostess gift! 2/15

There is some crazing and there is a teensy hairline on the handle of the spoon; other than that there are no chips or cracks. The bowl has an orange crown backstamp and no. #2955. Likely English. I have an antique biscuit jar with a similar pattern that is English. The bowl is 4 tall x 7.75 wide across rim or 8.5 wide from outer body to other side. The utensils are 11 inches long. Very unique nice set if you have traditional or oriental decor. I am not sure if this was for salad or something else. 4/13smc
