Vintage Glass Ceiling Shade Vintage glass light fixture. c:1920's-30's. Very pretty. You need to buy the 3 chains and brass plate at a lamp shop to hang it from the ceiling as shown in one of the pictures [see pic for a similar light fixture w/additional parts]. 10 wide x 5.5 tall. Or, use it as a beautiful unique bird feed outdoors! That is the hottest new trend; just hang 3 chains from the holes and attach to an S hook from your deck or pole! 11/16 cs5/09

vintagegjars8013

Cool Jars and Milk Bottle Carrier Vintage milk bottle carrier with 8 cool vintage jars! Very cool! Vintage jars are the hottest selling collectible at shows; selling from $12-35 each! They are using them for everything including as lights, candles, dispensers. Fill with marbles, shells, seeds, beads, thimbles, clothespins, bath salts, pebbles, etc. So many uses or just display as is! First is the vintage dairy carrier; it has rust on it, you can spray paint it to match your kitchen, or leave it rustic. These alone sell for $45 and up at shows. The first jar is a large Hazel Atlas jar with a red lid that reads: Royal Snack, Herring Tidbits, Haradel Corp. Neat old jar. Next is a Crown Canada canning jar with zinc and glass lid. Next is a cool French's Mustard jar with Hazel Atlas logo on bottom. Next is a jar with bail handle, and the HA logo on bottom. Next is a faint blue jar with red lid that reads: Red Pelican Pure Horseradish, USA. And, it says Duraglas on bottom with an Owens Illinois logo? on bottom. It has some crackles in the bottom of jar so it is just for display. Next is a Wheaton USA jar with a bail handle. Next is a tiny Hazel Atlas jar with a green lid, it is only 2.75 tall. Last is a Ferrara Candy Mint Peas jar with bail handle, Made in USA, not sure of the age on this jar. I do know that Wheaton and Hazel Atlas are no longer in business. HA went out in 1964. There is also a cute vintage linen Dutch Country kitchen towel that doesn't look like it was ever used. Just a nifty assortment of vintage jars for your collection. Or, use this as your own storage unit for screws, bolts, nails, tacks, etc. I have to keep my tools away from my hub so this is a convenient and attractive way to keep items in a place he wouldn't think of! 8/13

Antique Newbro's Dandruff Bottle Antique Newbro's herpicide dandruff bottle. It reads: 'Kills the Dandruff Germ'. This aqua glass bottle is 11 inches tall. It is showing age/ware; cloudiness. I did not attempt to even clean it, but you could soak it efferdent or soapy water. It also has one spot there it looks like a large bubble burst on surface of the bottle; a common flaw on old bottles. Stained Glass Panel Great looking stained glass panel. Shipping will be calculated after order is placed; if you want to know before ordering, email me your zip code. It has a loop to hang, or you could cut that off and have it framed. Thick glass. It is 12.5 x 12.5, and in good condition. Estate sale item; it doesn't look new, but is not an antique. Perfect for a small window and would be great in an Arts & Crafts room too; the coloring is similar to Pewabic Pottery and a lot of the early art pottery! You could also put it on the diagonal for a unique look in a custom window. 7/10cs-r

scentbottle110410

Antique Cut Glass Perfume Bottle Antique cut glass scent bottle. Fairly large double perfume bottle. It is much prettier than the pictures show it. The lids are likely sterling silver even though they look brassy in the photo. One lid has a shield like symbol on it. It does have some common flaws: the lids are dented a bit; one lid comes off the hinge when opening it, and one of the tiny glass stoppers on the bottle is broken off which is common on these antique bottles. You can not see that it is broken off without opening the lid. The bottle is 5 inches long. One bottle is a tiny bit cloudy but not bad; it appears worse than it is in the picture. These are fairly hard to find. Ladies in the Victorian era used these as they walked in case they came upon a bad odor. Sometimes one end had perfume and the other had smelling salts which is why one end might be cloudy. For being over 100 years old it is a very pretty item. 11/10nhcs

Vintage Vanity Jar Lovely vintage vanity jar. Cut glass I believe. No chips or cracks. The lid does not fit quite snug, it likely had a band or cushion on the interior rim of the lid at some point to make it snug, but it is now long gone but it looks great anyway! This jar is 4 inches tall up to lid finial. A beautiful accessory for your vanity table! 5/12estrs

Retro Square Dancing Glass Set Retro vintage square dancing glasses with shabby chic metal carrier. Six tall glasses with enameled? design. The glasses feature a man & woman dancing and reads: 'Square Dance, Swing Yer Ma'. These glasses are in good condition except one glass has some whitish residue on the bottom interior which doesn't come out. I think it is a mineral deposit or from soda. You can't see it unless looking down into the glass and it is not bad anyway. The glasses are 5.75 tall x 2.5 wide. Very colorful and fun. The metal carrier was brown; I shabby chic'd it. The carrier came from an estate sale and it is not vintage, but very cute for vintage glasses or the 1/2 pint milk bottles. The glasses have no maker's marks on them so I do not know which company made them but I'd guess they are from the 1950's or earlier. Nothing wrong with them except the mineral deposit mentioned in one of them. 9/13

Vintage Jars w/Basket Vintage jars with metal basket. The basket is not vintage but cute! First is a large Atlas Strong Shoulder Mason jar with zinc lid. It is 7 inches tall, #6 or #9 on bottom. Next is a Wheaton USA jar with zinc wire and lid with round holes. Wheaton Glass Co. is no longer in business. This jar was likely for parmesan cheese; it is 5.5 tall. Next is a blue Ball mason jar with zinc lid, no. 10 on bottom. Next is a tall Canadian jar with glass lid and zinc wire. It is 8 inches tall. Last are 2 small jars; the bottoms have a beaded band but not like the brand new jars. They were found at an estate sale full of buttons which have been removed. You can use most of these jars with the newer dispenser lids or serrated lids; those type of lids are not being sold with this assortment, but they are sold at craft shows. You can use these jars in the basket just as a display item; or fill the jars with various things like flowers, marbles, pebbles, pot pouri, thimbles, spools, hardware items, (bolts, tacks, nails, screws) and use this as your own tool caddy! You could also spray paint the basket another color to match your decor! 9/13

Vintage Milk Bottles Four vintage pint size milk bottles with metal wire basket. The bottles are all showing some age/wear as expected like cloudiness, scratches, scuffs, but are not bad. One bottle is a cool 5 cent bottle with ribbing, see pic #8. The other 3 are plainer looking bottles. The wire basket has a heart design; it is not vintage, but very cute. It's an estate sale item purchased to showcase these old bottles in! You can remove the white snowflakes and put water in them with a sunflower and use as a table centerpiece, or on a windowsill. Or, fill them with pot pourri and use on the back of a commode in your powder room! Be creative! 10/13vs

Vintage Glass Jars w/Basket Vintage glass jars and metal basket. Cute metal basket. The basket is not old, but neat and filled with 6 cool vintage jars! First is the awesome Hazel Atlas round jar with green bands. It has a palm tree on the tin lid, good condition. Next is a Hazel Atlas Kraft French dressing jar; the lid is somewhat worn. Next is a Pur Co. Brand Salad Cherries jar; showing some age/wear. No bar code on lid and old State abbreviation, Reallemon Co. Chicago, Ill.
