American Bisque Head Vase
Vintage American Bisque glamor girl head vase. She has incised USA mark on bottom and 24k gold. She is shown on pg. 41 of the book on Am. Bisque by M.J. Giacomini, 1994 edit. She is quite heavy and solid, has no chips or cracks; the gold is just a bit worn near her nose, one cheek, and near bottom. Looks like Betty Grable doesn't she? Hard to find the gold vase; the cold painted ones are more common.

Vintage Swan Planters
Three vintage swan planters. = only $10 each. All have the color yellow in common. The lst one is an American Bisque swan; 4.5 tall x 5 ling, no chips or cracks. Next swan is 5.25 tall x 5 long and is not marked. It looks like something Am. Bisque would have made. No chips or cracks but has a dark spot above the eye on one side. This swan has 2 heads. Last is a swan marked USA and is 4 tall x 6.25 long. My guess is Brush McCoy; dry white clay bottom rim. No chips or cracks; some cold paint missing on the swans beak. These are also listed individually; but cheaper to buy in the grouping. 12/13

Next is the double head dog planter and is shown in the book. Nice condition; just a tiny rought spot along bottom rim and some crazing. It is 5.5 tall x 6 long. American Bisque Disney Planters
Vintage Walt Disney Mickey Mouse planters. Both for one price. Colorful, cute and hard to find planters for your Disneyana collection! These were made by Am. Bisque, distributed by the Leeds company and licensed by Walt Disney Productions from 1944-54. The smaller one has an incised mark: Mickey Mouse Walt Disney Prod. on backside rim. It had some dirt on the interior when purchased; most of it has been removed. It has a couple of teensy chigger bites on the back rim edge of planter, see photo #7; and a couple dark underglaze dots on the top of the head. If you put it up on a shelf or put a faux plant it in, you'll never see the rim dots. It stands 5.5 tall x 5.5 long. The larger one has incised mark on bottom: Mickey Mouse Walt Disney; on side rim: USA, Walt Disney. It is almost 7 inches tall x 6.5 long x 3.25 deep. No chips or cracks; some pin dots on top of head. Very cute and hard to find items! Just one planter is listed for $65 at another site; why pay more? 5/18scs

American Bisque Strawberry Ball Pitcher
Vintage American Bisque strawberry ball pitcher. It is larger than what it looks like in the photo. It is being sold as a collectible item for display only and not to be used since it was made before the 70's and may have harmful elements in it. Shown on pg. 121 of the 1994 book. This pitcher is in very good vintage condition; the cold paint is intact. No chips or cracks; just one tiny dark bubble pop on upper rim, see photo #6 which is a magnified close up. It went with the Am. Bisque 'Sears' cookie jar and shakers. It stands 6.75 tall x 8 long. A neat pitcher for your ball pitcher collection or Am. Bisque collection! 9/18scs

Yellow Small Vintage Planters
Vintage yellow pottery planters assortment. All three for one price. First is the colorful duck. It has no chips or cracks; dry runners. It might be Am. Bisque but I did not see it in my book. It is 6 inches tall x 4.5 long, well made solid pottery. Next is an elephant planter; almost 5 tall x 6.5 long. Last is a bulldog planter. This one is either Morton or Cameron Clay Products; both companies made these bulldogs and both companies are out of business. The dog is 4 inches tall and has 2 small chips on the opening rim edge, see photo #6 closeup. You could dot with pale yellow paint and you'll never notice the flaws. Cute, colorful vintage oriental planters. Male and female; both for one price. No chips or cracks. Have not had time to check whether they are Royal Copley, Brush McCoy, Shawnee or Am. Bisque; could be any of those companies. They stand 6.5 tall. Flat, dry white clay bottoms. They are pottery, not ceramic and are heavier than Japan items. Vintage parakeet planter. This is a good sized planter even though it appears small on the photos. It is larger than most of the Morton Pottery birds. I think it is likely Royal Copley or Am. Bisque due to the wedges on the bottom; but could be RRP or Mortion. No chips or cracks. It stands almost 8 inches tall. It would be very cute with a faux plant in it. Vintage Scotty Dog Pipe Holder
Vintage Scotty dog pipe holder. Cute, well made pottery cigar holder. It has runners on the bottom so it may be American Bisque, Brush McCoy or Royal Copley; will check the books at some point. I doubt it is Japan due to the weight of it and runners on bottom. It is 5 tall x 10 long x 4 wide. No chips or racks; one white dot within the glaze on one side. You could dot that with black/grey paint if you desire perfection. The tail area is a hole for pipe cleaners or long matches. Very neat vintage item and would make a great gift for the person who smokes out of a pipe! Or, as a barware or game room display accessory. 11/14tn
