Art Nouveau Plateau Stand
Art Nouveau metal plateau stand. This is an art nouveau style metal bowl stand which can be used for oriental bowls, punch bowls or crystal bowls. It is 3.5 tall x 9 inches from end to end or 5.5 wide across top circle and 5 inches to 5.25 across the ledge inside the top rim. It is heavy and can hold a large bowl. I have a crystal bowl that is being sold separately atop it just to show you how it looks with a bowl on it. If you don't like the color you could spray it gold, silver, brass or pewter. I am not sure what the metal is; it might be white brass, or pot metal, but it is not iron even though it is very heavy. It is a great piece to make a statement in a traditional or Victorian style room! 4/15br

Vintage USA vanity accessories. Lovely large vanity box, a brush, and a large mirror with beveled edge. The mirror has a paper label on it: 24 K Gold Finish. The brush is removeable to wash it, and there is a little USA mark in center of bristle area. The box is 6.25 wide x 3 tall x 5 deep. Not sure which companie made these but I'd guess Matson. Antique Vanity Jars
Antique vanity jars. Both jars for one price. The vanity tray is not included. These are very pretty jars. The lids are brassed tin with a picture of a colonial lady. The glass is very yellow under a black light indicating these were made before 1916. One of the jars has a fissure within the glass; it looks like a crack in the photo but nothing is felt with my fingertip; it is within layers of glass and is very tiny. The lid on one jar has a small corroded spot, see photo. The two flaws, photos 5-6, are tiny and these jars are just lovely despite them! You can use as powder jars or for jewelry and trinkets. 3/15s

Victorian Cut Glass Vanity Jar
Victorian ntique cut glass vanity jar. Good sized jar with art nouveau lid. The lid is probably gray metal or pot metal, but could be old silverplate. No hallmarks on it. The glass jar is very bright and clear with some bubbles in it and some straw lines/glass scars here and there. The lines are within the glass itself. The jar is 5 inches tall up to top of lid. Great for your vanity table to put powder or trinkets in or just for display on a mirrored tray! 11/15

Victorian Vanity Jar
Victorian antique vanity jar. c: 1800's-1916. Gorgeous art nouveau jar that glows a strong yellow under a black night. It is very clear and in good condition; no maker's mark. The lid is tin or pot metal; and this jar would have been used to collect human hair. The Victorians used the hair to make decorative pictures and wigs. This jar is 3.75 tall x 4.5 wide. There is a little scratch on the interior bottom of jar but it doesn't show unless you open the lid and look down into the jar. You could use the jar for pot pourri or pins, etc. This is a beautiful accessory for your vanity table or to give as a unique gift for the feminine lady in your life! 10/18

Vanity Trinket Box Vintage Trio
Vintage trinket boxes. Very nice older vanity boxes for jewelry, pins, trinkets, rings, etc. The first one has a fabric top with a scene called 'The Dance Class' by Degas. It is 3.25 wide x 1.75 tall. It has a red velvet interior; one end of the velvet needs a stitch or glue to keep it in place. Next is a round box with butterscotch color velvet interior. It has 3 feet and is 2.25 tall x 3 wide; beveled glass. Last is a slightly bigger round box with 3 feet and beveled glass. It is 3.5 wide x 2.25 tall. Antique Cut Glass Vanity Jar
Antique cut glass vanity jar. Very unusual shape; lid is marked: EPNS. The glass on this item is beautiful and clear. It has one glass flaw on the interior bottom; it is not a chigger bite, but a tiny glass scar; it is smooth, and too small to get a clear photo of it. The lid is showing wear; it has like a ring mark on it. This item glows a strong yellow under a black light so I'd estimate it was made before 1916. It is 4.5 long x 1.75 wide x almost 1.5 tall. I think it is early Czech glass but it does not have the etched mark. A beautiful jar for your vanity table! 10/22scs

Edinburgh Crystal Pot Pourri Jar
Vintage Edinburgh Crystal pot pourri cut glass or crystal jar. c: 1867-2006. This clear jar is 5.25 wide x 3.75 tall. The silverplate lid was black when purchased so I gave it a quick polish. This beautiful jar would be perfect on your vanity table or on the back of a commode with pot pourri in it. It has one teensy chigger bite on the interior of lid rim; it is not noticeable, and not visible when lid is on. Age estimate: 1920's-30's. 11/22s

Pink Roses Vanity Assortment
Vintage pink roses porcelain vanity accessory assortment. Some items are vintage, but not sure on others. All feature pink roses. First is a gorgeous Royal Sealy vintage covered porcelain footed jar w/foil label on bottom, good condition, 4.5 wide x 5 tall; (you can use it for powder, pins etc.). It has a lustre finish with large roses and gold trim. Next is a beautiful shaving mug, good condition, 3.5 tall x 3 wide; next is a an 11 inch decorative plate with 2 backstamps: Shumanh Arzberg Germany, and E&R Melrose, est. 1886, #30 with cutout edge, (E&R is the importer's mark for Ebeling & Reuss Co.); next is a small vintage oval dish, (soap dish?) with green underglaze mark for Epiag, Cecho-slovakia, (Elbogen Bohemia, c:1941-1945). Next is a lovely porcelain tumbler with gold number #8135, (likely German), and is 3.75 tall x 2.75 wide. Porcelain Vanity Tray and Accessories
Fabulous porcelain vanity tray with accessories. Large, elegant feminine tray with matching cologne bottles, and a powder box. You are only paying for the tray and cologne bottles, the powder box is free since the lid has a crack in it. The tray looks small in the photos because I had to take the shot from afar to fit it all in. The tray has a blue beehive mark and number which looks like a Royal Vienna mark, however, it is an overglaze mark, thus, it may be another company from the same region. RV marks are supposed to be under the glaze, however, porcelain vanity tray bottoms are rarely glazed. According to research, about 40 other factories in the same geographic region copied Royal Vienna items, and depending on the quality of the item, they can be quite pricey. See Antiques Roadshow; a RV copy was worth $5-$8,000! Whether this is a true RV mark or another company from that region is not certain. The tray has a blue number #7730 and beehive; and no chips or cracks, and is 16 x 12 inches; raised painted flowers, and gold accents. The cologne bottles are 10.5 tall; just showing some wear off the gold on the stoppers; and are numbered: #7727 with blue beehive mark, no chips or cracks. The powder box is also numbered #7727 with blue beehive symbol; the lid had been previously repaired by someone, and the gold is somewhat worn on top finial. Aside from the crack on the powder box, this entire set is in very good condition, and is quite stunning whether it is RV or another similar company. It came from a very affluent estate sale; folks went into assisted living. 9/05brdwn

Vintage vanity accessories. First the the oval tray which I am 99% sure is a Matson tray. It has the daisy flowers on ends, and where the mark should be on the underside of an end is a glob of gold; this is probably a factory flubber. This tray is 9.5 wide x 16.75 long. It has some minor tiny scratches; nothing visually impairing and you won't see them when your other items are atop it. Next is a gorgeous vintage hand mirror that looks like an Apollo item. Very intricate metalwork. One side of mirror is regular, other side enlarges the image. Next is a lovely vintage footed trinket box. And, last is a vintage lipstick holder. The lipstick holder is showing some wear, (the gold paint is starting to fade away a bit on this item; just re-spray it with antique gold paint). 3/13vs

Czechoslovakian Perfume Bottle Vintage
Vintage Czechoslovakian perfume bottle. Acid etched oval mark on bottom: Made in Czechoslovakia. It is 6.25 tall. A beautiful collectible bottle. A perfume bottle has three parts: the stopper, (top piece that fits into the bottle); the dauber, which is a long slender tube that is attached to the stopper and goes into the base; and the bottom base of the bottle. The dauber is broken off which is very common on these older bottles and this is not considered to detract from the price. The stopper has cutout roses; and a couple of teensy-tiny chigger bites, also very common. The interior of bottle edge where stopper fits into the base is showing some wear and this is probably from lifting the stopper out of bottle many times over the years. It is a very elegant vintage bottle for use or just to display. This would make a lovely gift for the woman that loves pretty things on her vanity table! These bottles sell for over $250 on other sites, why pay more? 11/12nhcs

Large vintage Czech perfume bottle. Not marked, but 99% sure it is Czech. Intangilo glass stopper. It stands 7.75 tall x 3.75 wide. It has a couple of specks of wear on the stopper; and one tiny flake of glass off the base which is hard to see unless under your nose; pic #5 is a magnified image of it. Vintage Toiletry Case Cowhide
Vintage Cowhide toiletry case. Very nice small case with most of the original accessory items included. There is one long glass bottle; and 4 other glass jars/bottles with a brush. I think it likely had a hand mirror and comb but those are missing. This case opens and closes freely. The only wear on it is the exterior corners are a bit worn. There was likely a key to lock it originally but that is not with the case now. This case is 12 x 10 x 3.5 deep. It is hard to find these old cases in decent condition with any bottles left in them, so this is what I call a good find! Age est: 1930's-40's. 10/13aaestcs

Matson Vanity Tray and Box
Vintage Matson vanity tray and matching trinket box. The tray is marked Matson; the box is numbered but not marked Matson but has the same design and pattern on it, (flower and leaves). The tray is 16.5 long x 9.5 wide and not as bright gold as the box. The box is 5.25 wide x 3 tall. You can spruce up the tray with gold paint, or just leave as is for the vintage look. The tray has some minor scratches as expected but once you set your vanity items on it, you won't notice a thing. 1/13
