Three vintage swan planters. = only $10/each! Very confident these are a Cameron Clay Products novelty planters. CC Pottery was an American company that is no longer in business; they made a lot of novelty planters and are similar in design, glazes and weight to McCoy Pottery. These swans have no chips or cracks; just a couple dots where the gold has rubbed off on the gold one primarily. They are almost 5 tall x 5.5 long. The blue one has an incised mark #288?, and white one has 188 or 288 can't tell for sure. Gold one just has a depression in the glaze where the number would be. The other companies who could have made these are Brush McCoy or Royal Copley; those companies also had dry runner on many of their novelty planters. 3/16 |
