Vintage Zanesville stoneware herb jar. Nice color; dry yellow clay bottom. It is 5.5 tall x 4.5 wide at top rim. No chips or cracks. Very thick and well made. These look awesome on the patio tables in the summer with small sedum plants trailing out of them. Or, indoors with ivy, etc. This is vintage USA pottery but Zanesville has a very contemporary look to it. Shown in the 2002 book; pg. 269 and other pages. 10/12 |
