Awesome majolica glaze pottery pedestal. It looks like either early Weller or Brush McCoy, (interior dry clay looks more like Weller). It is not crooked, just my bad picture. It has a fern and flower pattern. This ped is 16 tall x 8 wide at top and 8.5 wide at bottom. There is one pea sized old chip on bottom edge which doesn't really show when ped is upright. Very attractive old ped; age est: 1900-1920's. I have 2 McCoy jars and a large BM jard sold separately that can be used with this ped, (see pics 3-4, different pattern but same glaze colors). Once you put a big fern in the jard you can't see the patterns anyway. The BM jard on this ped is pic #7. 3/10ggau#2992 |
