Antique Rockingham bread tray. c:1800's. Has wheat design on ends and raised words: 'Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread'. It was likely made by Bennington, but could be another company. It is 12 long x 10 wide. No chips or cracks; has a 3/4 inch factory glaze miss on flat portion; one bump in glaze; and some scratching. I would venture to say this is a very rare item, so if you collect antique Rockingham, this is a great piece for your collection! It looks like the 60's brown dinnerware in the picture, but when you see it in person, it is not that ugly stuff! Purchased from DuMouchelles-mc1.07 |
