Porcelain mug and saucer with transferware picture of peasant women. It could be a German shaving mug or might be for coffee or hot chocolate, it is too big to be a teacup I believe. The bottom of cup has incised numbers: 1339 over 7200. The saucer is 5.75 wide; cup is 3.5 tall x 3 wide. The cup has one teensy fleabite on the upper rim; hard to spot it, you can find it by running a finger around the rim. The saucer has some white spots on pink area, but this is under the glaze. Very pretty item for display! |
